The stormers had a chance to put the reds away tonight but for poor line out throws and no backline to speak of, one wonders how they managed to get any points on the board.
Then there is the lineouts. Fourie is a fantastic player but his Achilles heal is that he just can't seem to throw into the line out. Why would you persist, surely he would have been exposed in practice.
The young kid Coetzee had an immediate impact. Why not just give the youngsters a run. Get the under 21 hooker and locks in and at least you would have players that know each other and that can ensure that you win your line outs.
Fourie messed up last y ear too when he was at hooker. If your two can't thow into the line out then you have a massive problem. A hookers job is to throw straight and hook the ball. Everything else is a bonus
