I just preferred the demeanor of the Saders vs the Brumbies. Read was very gentlemanly in his comments methinks.

I am not to fussed either way. Maybe the Tahs deserve it as they have had such a good run towards the end of the tournament. May also be good for Ozzie rugby, and allways good to have another Southern Hemishpere test team doing well. Australia allways have a good team but it has been long since they had a great team of Super Hero's like at around the start of 2000 with the likes of Eales, Larkham, Roff, Tune, Gregan and co.
Crusaders allways peak at the business end of the tournament, but have not been as exceptional as they were during the Deans era.

I allways support the Southern Hemishpere teams against Northern Hemishpere teams.

The Waratahs go WAY!! over the top with everything...... Back slapping, clapping crap. Almost as bad as the Reds in 2011 with they're breakdancing BS!!! God I hope the Crusaders completely annihilate them. 50 points would be a good start.

Yup, if the sharks had won I would also be backing the sharks over the tahs. Too brash, too cocky, too much!

not sure whats wrong with back salpping an all that, me thinks my kiwi compatriots are speaking more from the beldisloe rivalry side of things.

every team on the field back slaps and hi fives each other after doing a good thing in the game, waratahs are no different from any other team in that regard.

havent missed an episode of rugby HQ, and when u hear them talk about the kiwi teams and what have u, they are (as most teams do) always talking them up for the deadly threat that they are, always filled with respect.

there have been articles about players believing that they can win the title, and theres nothing wrong with that either IMO.

whats the point of playing finals if u dont believe, the game is as much mental as it is physical.

had the sharks won, i would have been cheering for the waratahs hard for various reasons.
1) sharks and all saffa teams for that matter dont play a brand of rugby which should be rewarded.
they might get the odd lucky win against a top team like they did the crusaders earlier in the round robin, but the conservative 10 man hybrid game of white is obsolete in this pro attacking modern day rugby world.
2) waratrahs deserve a championship for the very opposite reason,, they have played the best brand of rugby in 2014.
NZ teams have also played the smae brand for large parts of the season, but the wararatahs had the results to back up their plays.
3) can anyone even rememeber the type of rugby the waratahs were playing before cheika came along??? lets just say i wouldnt blame anyone who thought the waratahs  were from SA.
cheika has turned their squad of talented players into a real spXv rugby force with a brand of rugby that any rugby fan would love to watch.
4) ARU are struggling, and another spXV win would do more good for them then it would the sharks.
despite another saffaless spXV final, rugby will always be strong in SA, especially with their selection policies regarding overseas players for their Boks.
wallys like the All Blacks onlky select players based in their countries, plus australia have a huge competitive market to compete against with the AFL and NRL.

have been a big fan of the waratahs ever since cheika came on board (btw heres a cloth for all that egg on ur face sharkbok), but the real test is this week against the crusaders, a test i cant see the waratahs passing despite all they have going for them.

There was a fair bit of history between the tahs and brumbies for this one. Fairly big build up. Just before kick off I had that same feeling I used to have before origin matches so surely the tahs can be forgiven for a bit of back slapping. I think the two best teams are playing in the finals and I for one can't wait. The tahs this year have been good for Aus rugby and we needed it!

Claydog dont mind our gun totting moll Cloudy who takes no captives!
I think the best team in the comp on form were in fact the Sharks. Unfortunately they lost their way late in the season.
However there is little doiubt, as even the one eyed saSUE notes, that the Warts deserve the title and I hope they do not slip up in the final. The crusties were gifted a RAW against the depleted Stormers so I have no sympathy with them at all. They should not have finished second on the log and would have lost to the Sharks in Durban.Goooooo Warts!
Coach needs to steam up Falau - the guy is a serial loafer but very talented.

At least I didnt say gun totting mole Cloudy - be thankful for small mercies.
No its only right that the Warts win the title as they have been the best team and ended top of the log.
We dont want anymore chest beating from that noted loonie hacked waaaugh not to mention the other kbbs!

Incredibly, the Waratahs haven’t defeated the Crusaders since 2004, with NSW losing their last 11 encounters to Super Rugby’s most successful side.

Two of those losses came in finals back in 2005 and 2008, with the Crusaders proving much too strong in both contests.

NSW however come into this match full of confidence after coming first during the regular season and extending their current winning streak to eight matches after their victory over the Brumbies - which is also a club record.

The Waratahs will also host this year’s decider after previously making the trip across the Tasman to take on the Crusaders in their two past finals.

Could be Blackadders first title or the Waratahs. Can't wait!!!

Agree,  the T.V will be off very quickly...As it's Flying out my window. Stats are all going the way of the War-tah, but history clashes between the two go the opposite way... Don't know? Have to back the Crusaders, just hope for the best. If the Waratahs win,  they've earned it.

Nothing worse than a cocky Ozzie ... except of course ... a cocky Kiwi.

Think I'll side with the Tahs this time round.

They had an amazing season and besides it would be good to see a different team claiming the throne this year.

Tahs by 4.
