I’m all for moving on now
My team ag ainst Portugal will be asz follows:
15 Fassi
14 Kolby
13 Willemse
12 De Allende
11 Arendse
10 Feinberg-Ngomezulu
9 Anyone bar De Klerk
8 Roos
7 Du Toit
6 Kolisi
5 Snyman
4 Etzebeth
3 Malherbe
2 Marx
1 Nche
The bench can be full of youngsters. Time to forget about players. like those Old guard under-performers
.
No, give Esterhuizen another token one off against Portugal in an unsettled side so everyone can write him off again if he doesn't set the stage alight. Then we can go back to Mr Best Passer in the Team and watch him play thi rd flanker while stopping anything constructive happening out back for the next 4 years again.
Pakie
Erasmus and Brown know what Etserhuizen is capable of and he is really fast mivng to exit from the Springbok squad. If Willemse was available he would not have been in he squad anyway.
There is better around than AE and DdD....why would you bother!?
Our loosies and backs need a complete makeover with the exception of Kolbe and Arendse.

In theory. Proven test 12s, not one.
Put in all the younger players.
Have an experienced bench.
This fixation with Arendse bothers me. He was highly ineffectual against Ireland. Useless in contesting the high ball. Ditto Kwagga.
Willemse will be a welcome return and I hope Moodie comes back soon.
As usual HasBeen swallows the bait:
K SmithN80610531200P ToitFL04710000So who was the ineffectual ball carrier. The ineffective loosie at the breakdown? Dud Toit did one thing all game a try saving goal line tackle on Doris. He also lost at least one lineout.
Kolisi did nothing ….absolutely nada.
Kwagga was the only loosie functioning as a loosie. But the fools who eat the pablum blame him,
Point is, in spite being ‘ineffectual’ he generated 53 metres and beat 2 defenders….that was more than all the other starting Springbok forwards combined. He isn’t an 8th man, but as an open sided he makes way more contributions than Kolisi. Dud Toit is a lock.
Ou Mozzietard doesn't realize quite a few of those meters gained was when Kwagga was out in the open but was easily hauled in. Showed that the guy has slowed up.
When you play a guy the size of a back as a forward he must have real pace.
Mozzietard wants the best seven in the game to play lock. Granted Du Toit could play lock but makes no sense right now to change him over to lock. I think Mozzie is still smarting about all his daft criticism of Du Toit backfiring on him
Mozzie lacks rugby acumen!
Dud Toit has cost us far more in terms of inept running and non performance at the breakdown, than he has provided in process tackling. As for Kwagga….his metres were gained in the type of running a loosie does. He was the only functioning loosie the Boks had playing yesterday, as the numbers clearly show.
Mozart have you seen another test than we ordinary human beings have seen?
In ny evemt that incident where Kwagga did the impressive charge down - was also when he made a silly mistake, iinstead of dribblng the ball - he slowed down sunificently to pick up the ball and that was why a try has no been scored from what was an excllent opprtunity to score. Slowing down allowing 5 Irish players to help in defense and one of those tackled him and combined hey overturn posssesion of the ball. The only Springbok player at the breakdiwn - Du Toit on his own he could not prevent the turnover,. .
