Why the fuck the SA sides disrespect the Champions Cup competition so much by repeatedly selecting B sides? The Bulls have done it, we have just seen the Stormers and Sharks do it this weekend What’s the fucking logic behind this? Why the fuck is the inferior competition that is the URC given preference? Why would a side think that winning the URC carries more weight than the Champions Cup - I don’t get it We get the opportunity to play in the Champions Cup and we choose to disrespect it and fuck it up

Bullshit - select the best sides for the Champions Cup and rest players in the URC Our priorities are fucked up Not sure why you struggled to work that out from my opening post?

I agree, preference should not be given to the URC. If players need rest, then rest them for the URC

Was it not the case that the Stormers team selection was forced due to injuries, and as the way things are for the Stormers right now, if they don't focus on the URC, they won't be in the Champions Cup next season.

I prefer if we focus on the URC. It's the main comp we are involved in and where the majority of our commitment lay. The Champion's Cup is a mixed bag. I see it as FA Cup versus Premier League. As it stands I'm so dang stoked with the URC that anything that messes with our involvement in it doesn't get my vote. Our involvement in the URC has seen us be very successful and it has improved our game, our popularity and funding. We can't go full steam ahead in both competitions and I'd also put the Champ's Cup on the back burner were I Dobbo, Plumtree, etc.

Not really  so Stav - playes like Malerbe, Schickerling, Feinberg-Mngomezlu and Nel were savalable and the Stormers had them in  he UK - but they were not picked to play and a string  of Univarsity Cup players were insted playing for the Stormers the past  weekend.   The fact is that Moerat was played and was captain added to the catastrophe.
