...series sweep against the French was "unconvincing", despite the total score being 127 - 38 in favour of the All Blacks.
I wonder how exactly a "convincing" series win would look then. The mind boggles.

In contrast the Boks' total score against England is 75 - 76 in favour of the English.

The ABs looked fantastic overall and got to try out some new players and some new plays. They have been working on how to deal with the rush defenses. They got to try all this out be the question does remain - how good were the French. A worst it was three training runs but hopefully the French are an improving side and it was more than a training run.

It was good to see that when players like Re tallick are out players like Barrett step up big time.

The French had the best defence in the 6N and Ireland managed 3 tries over 3 tests so make yer inferences from that .
