Bavuma has to be the worst individual player and leader of a captain SA has ever had. The definition of BEE. Surprise surprise...QDK also fails again when it matters most.

Ock always fails when it matters most….could have been out 3 times before he was. Dropped a catch off Markram when there was still a glimmer of hope. Great when there’s no pressure…a serial flop in WC knockouts.

Its not about de Kock it’s about the team de Kock is pure class has always been - will be a massive loss to SA cricket

Saffex the top order batsmen certainly choked and let the side down and put a virtually impossible task on our bowlers to contain the end of the match, although they did their part and bowled well under the circumstances, especially Coetzee, and Quinton De Kok dropping a sitter behind the stumps, which might have changed the result.

A match we could have easily won. Painfull f or those who did the job.

5 of our bats completely failed de Kocks drop was far too late in terms of the result to make any impact at all

The other bats failed trying something reasonable, except Jansen who was frozen. De Kock played a ludicrous slog, And yes the catch would have probably been too late. Still one would have preferred to have a shot with 8wickets down and 9 runs to go.

Hmmmmm clutching at straws Moz 5 catches or more were dropped but ultimately it was the piss poor show of the top 4 who had had such a good WC They peaked too soon :)

I can’t even categorize the shot Ock was playing….a slog is about all I can think of. A shot you wouldn’t expect from your opener in a club match, let alone a WCsemi. The ball had no width and it was just short of a length. Bat crazy.

Pressure build up given the fact we had 18 runs after 10 overs - we were in deep shit. So nothing rational about what happened

We still made a game of it and yes.... we re-iterated the fact we're not a knock(out side. Still the best ODI team in history... yet no medals.

We need more BEE... More undeserving people should be picked based on their skin color. That is how we improve our cricket.

Gee you guys are being a bit tough on your team! I defy any top order (including India’s) to have done much better on that pitch in the first innings. The bounce the Aussie quicks extracted and the movement in the conditions made it a minefield for the SA top order. Exactly the reverse of the pitch that NZ had to bowl on the previous day!

Apparently the Aussies would've batted if they won the toss ................ given the conditions I'm nonplussed at both teams wanting to bat first.

How about Bavuma who kept sitting with his arms folded, whilst everyone else was standing, applauding Miller when he got his century ....

Was piss poor to see ...

Bavuma still denies he was sleeping in that international captains meeting ....
