There are many that will scorn and mock this as I did once until you get to place when you become completely honest with your life and stop looking for reasons not to believe....the bible is not a science book or something that can be understood only academically but the truth in the greatest love letter that was given to mankind is restoration to the Creator who loves each and every one of you.
We all have our doubts, fears and insecurities...be honest ...there are times when we ache, want something meaningful, we all make so many mistakes in life, we hurt people, we say things that are wrong, we cheat and lie sometimes to those that we love and do things that are just not on. None of us is guiltless and we all at times have regrets.
That ugly thing in all of us is pride and ego...we say to ourselves we can manage, we are strong we are tough but the real truth is known deep in your heart...we need something more.
Wars, rumours of wars and impending disasters are continuing knocking at the world scene, yes, they've been there before but in a sense the world is going down, morally, people just don't care anymore, friends let you down, money troubles, politicians give you false hope, even religion is tainted...you see these guys on tv preaching a false gospel@ mixing truth but with a lot of error and deception...off putting I agree , don't listen or trust them.
It's really simple when you feel this need ask Him to show you the way, to give you the strength and desire to really know the truth, get a bible and start reading the gospels, suggest John's or Matthew's first...just read what God sent His Son to settle all our pain, errors, infirmities, imperfections...our iniquities and sins.
I know some of you will scorn me but I honestly pray for each member on this forum...I will never be able to convince you but He honours this and will send His Comforter, the Holy Spirit , the Helper to help you.
