A sign of a decline is loosing 1000 matches in a row, a sign of a upwards movement is winning 15 matches in a row. Anyone who thinks this is a sign of a team in decline, needs to get their eyes checked. Obviousley other teams are on the up too, but other teams don't matter

3 I Q take it from Beeno there are signs of decline. Can they be arrested is the only question. The past record is not a true reflection as it is heavily ref assisted. Sorry but that is the truth.

Time to let that go, reffing goes back and fourth can favour that team and that team. Its up to the team to be best prepared for anything possible outcome. Abs weren't assisted by the ref at all, regardless if you agree with the decision or now you clearly don't haha as most SA do. Yeah fair enough NZ get the rub of the green of the reffing every now and then, but its a two way street time to gain some common ground her and compromise, all teams suffer from reffing, its been like that for the past century. Far as im concerned I didn't see Nigel Owens diving in the corner haha. My point is until NZ actually starting loosing one or even two or three, put up or shut up, because right now its just speculation saying NZ are declining.

Beeno are you telling me you haven't beaten us in three years, because of the ref? Really 15 matches in a row, because of the ref. Over 1000 minutes of rugby all because of the ref lol, come on that's far fetched even for you.

The only way anyone can possibly with a straight face say NZ were ref assisted for 15 matches in a row, is if the matches were pre-determined, and the ref was payed to assit the abs. Even then no one makes SA miss tackles, like JJ did in the final of the RC last year. NZ scored more points Per Average then any team last year, was that because of the ref? No its because NZ are the most proficient team on the planet. Even you Beeno its time to give NZ credit, I am not saying they are not on decline, I am not even saying they are on the upwards. But you say you cannot use history is not a true reflection, but what is then? The present? Well in the present they haven't lost a match since 2012. And saying its the truth, well it's not the truth but your opinion.

You seem to be trying very hard to convince yourself  3 IQ Hahahahahahahaha.
In tests against nz we get twice as many yellows as nz. 10 points per yellow. Adjust these test for that one single factor and we would be well ahead of you. Last year journalists from NZ, SA and UK all queried why refs were favouring the wee abs (I posted the articles here).Bob Dyer produced stats showing that in one season the abs got 42 penalties to one yellow, OZ 7 penalties to a yellow and sa 5 penaties to a yellow. We saw the bryce lawrence debacle and the oak was made nz ref of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We have endless incidents like the Bissie tackle on Carter. TMO foul ups and Justin Marshll repeatedly saying the nz opponent is getting a bad decisison against them.
Sorry but the only advice one can give is nz must clean up their act. You actually don't believe you can win fair and square that much is apparent. It's a sad state of affairs but one senses the world rugby community is waking up to nz's aproach to the game.
Fair go mate.
Other than that the kiwis are excellent oaks!

When the abs were booted out ofthe world cup via a blatant French forward pass in full view of the E nglish linesman I objected vigourously! There is no place in rugby for this rubbish.

It only require one loss to break a string of wins. Had the "little  mistake" not occurred last weekend the ABs would now have had zero undefeated games in a row.

Beeno: I am sorry to say that you appear to be confused... a little lost. Let me help

The focus of the discussion is on how great the ABs are with their won/loss record & ...the introduction of total rugby (exciting & winning rugby); how they have helped lesser teams to lift their mediocre performance to almost acceptable levels; how they have helped players who have to suffer a poor exchange rate by increasing the rugby viewing audience & thus the revenue for all rugby unions & players. (Please feel free to add your own list...)

So focus the mind beeno & ensure assert your leadership skills.

Beeno you can throw any stat at me or anything won't make a difference, at the end of they day the only thing anyone remembers is the scoreline. The only stat that's matters is 100% winning record and you can take that to the bank and run with it! . And Bob Dwyer please lol, like that guy has no biast or agenda at all, the guy is just petty and conceded and jealous of how superior NZ is at winning rugby. Oz haven't had a good side in years, and do not believe this side well trouble the Abs too. Penalty Count, reffing biast bla bla bla, all this does is reaks to me of a SA blogger who has given up on his own teams influencing why NZ keep winning, so relying on the performances of the reffing and their "alledged" reffing corruptness as an excuse as to why NZ keep winning. You can blame Bryce Lawerence all you want, but I think the fact that occurred is blinding you and has impaired your judgement ever since. Now every time their is some form of controversy and the ref is involved, it gives you another opportunity to sensationalize your agenda, that all refs particularly kiwi refs are all bent, and its a big OL!!! conspiracy, only if Paddy Obrian was stopped, the world well finnaly stop those cheating evil people who constantly score more trys, and constantly average 25 ppg againgst us last year, but hey its way more convenient to focus on ther refs frailties then our own isint it . As for the refs stuff up, what stuff up Retilluck made a run, the guy committed a professional foul was sent of as he should have been, saying whether or England would of wan because of that, well stop putting yourself in a position for the ref to cheat, and it won't happen . End of story, they didn't NZ were more clinical end of.

Just Win.....kindly do not talk about increasing revenue when NZ had such a huge short fall in the RWC that no other country was willing to take on the RWC in 2015 except my stupid lot because it meant the hosts had to, not only make a huge profit this time around, but they had to make up that loss too.
Thus, this coming RWC sees ticket prices at a premium for even the poorer games and, for those including the teams that most of us wish to see are a ridiculous price and no-one will be able to get hold of/afford to see them. They have priced the real fans out of the market and that is unforgivable in my eyes.Your RWC was a massive failure. We are fools to pick up the tab.

So don't come it all the time.
Some of us are avid Rugby fans in spite of NZ. We grew up with the game. My Uncle played for N'pton Saints. As a child, I spent most Sunday mornings at my village pub with the team,; they congregated there. I had a bottle of pop !! My Aunt went out with the brother of an England Squad player, my brother had England Schoolboy Trials but suffered a serious concussion playing for his School a few days before and had to give up the game there and then. My parents went to School with a vast amount of Saints players of the time. And I went to School with the kids of Saints players/England and British Lions. My friend had his leg broken playing for England against the Welsh and his career ended. I have been a Member of the Saints for over 25yrs and been to more games and Clubs around the Country than I can recall. We used to watch the Second team, The Wanderers, if we couldn't get to Saints matches. We had the annual Mobbs Match, against the Barbarians which all Schools had the afternoon off to attend...it's in honour of Edgar Mobbs, a War hero and Saint ( look him up ) I used to go to the Middlesex Sevens every year...we don't have that now, we just have to put up with the " World 7's " instead, so Club Rugby loses out yet again. But it was a tradition. I've been to England games and England School boys and even the odd Women's games.I've stood on muddy touchlines watching my School and boyfriends and friends, playing for the Junior ranks...because Rugby is something important to many of us and has been for many a year. And I have known many very famous players over the years, including your great All Black, Wayne Shelford.
You see we invented the game and you know what ? It's being destroyed of late. the love is going for many of those who played and built some of these great Clubs here. I know, because I was discussing this very fact with some ex-players just the other week. And that is partly because of this sort of attitude that is creeping into the game.
The soul has been destroyed and I don't know if we can actually get it back.

Becs: you probably noticed that a lot of my posts are tongue-in-cheek  In this case I am just pushing back against the constant flood of posts against the ABs. Yes, all rugby nations play a role in protecting or damaging the game we all love. Each of us have contributed to it positively and negatively but in general it is growing as a sport so we are all winners (not whiners)

In terms of revenue, my main point is that the AB are used for marketing the game globally & our record, the haka, etc. all contribute to public awareness which in turn increases viewership and advertising revenue. If you mention rugby to kids in Warsaw they often say oh, yeah I know about the All Blacks, I like the Haka.... I know this may rub some the wrong way but it all helps our game.

Yes, a lot of mine are tongue in cheek too and I am as sarcastic as the next highly sarcastic poster, truly I am.
But I am afraid that I am getting sick and tired of this alleged one man rugby band. And actually, shoot me down if you want, the Haka bores me. The first time I saw it in the flesh, so to speak, was at a NZ Barbarians match here in Northampton and it was a bit of fun. It doesn't scare me, I respect a tradition ( I was an Historian for pities sake. Tradition is my stock in trade ) But I am afraid you have somewhat sullied it by your own actions in demanding players MUST stand a certain amount of steps back...I mean crikey, MUST they all face it, unblinkingly ? If someone accidentally looks away, should we all start again ? It has stepped into the realms of pantomime and that has actually worked against you, I am afraid. Teams have no fear of it. By performing a Haka at the drop of a hat there is now no mystique to it and the fans have actually become bored by it. One should respect it, as they should an Anthem. But YOU do not dictate to everyone what the MUST do. No-one died and made NZ the rulers of world Rugby and that, my dear is where you have gone very wrong indeed. Because the rest of the Rugby world has appeared to slowly turn against you. And, as I said, they have finally got it into their heads that you are only mere mortals. Some very talented mortals, some not so talented mortals. And you have often got the breaks because you are NZ. But now that tide might just have turned, because other teams believe. They don't fear you like they used to. They have got that silly psychological flaw out of their systems and they actually realise that they can compete and stand alongside you. You might have different skill sets or, in some cases, the skills other teams have might be better than the ones you have, but it doesn't mean you aren't actually beatable. You just thrive on other teams errors and getting away with blue murder. It's a simple game plan, always has been. Because Rugby is a simple game when played well.
And when you tried to stop the Cornish All Blacks from having that name, by taking them to Court ? They have had that name for longer than NZ, yet you tried to bully them out of it because you have more money etc. I mean, how dare you ?
Advertising and Sponsorship is what is killing this game, not making it. Get that into your heads. But we shall know who to blame, so thank you, NZ.

@becs,

"But I am afraid that I am getting sick and tired of this alleged one man rugby band. And actually, shoot me down if you want, the Haka bores me."
everyones entitled to their opinion, and the hakas not everyones cup of tea.

"The first time I saw it in the flesh, so to speak, was at a NZ Barbarians match here in Northampton and it was a bit of fun. It doesn't scare me, I respect a tradition ( I was an Historian for pities sake. Tradition is my stock in trade )"
why is this even being pointed out???
ive heard not one account in my lifetime of teams or individuals being afraid of the haka,

and yeah it does have a bit of tradition to it, everytime u see the national anthem being sung at games especially interantionals, dont forget it was the All Blacks haka which helped start that legacy, a legacy which is practised nearly everywhere by everyone.

"But I am afraid you have somewhat sullied it by your own actions in demanding players MUST stand a certain amount of steps back...I mean crikey, MUST they all face it, unblinkingly ? If someone accidentally looks away, should we all start again ? It has stepped into the realms of pantomime and that has actually worked against you, I am afraid."
now just talking horse shit sweetie. where/when exactly did NZ demand these actions???

if u want to look at the real culprit, then go ask fellow briton mike miller why there are guidelines to the haka.

the official answer is, the IRB under mike miller was looking to preserve the traditions which the IRB considered a part of the game.

the unofficial answer is, the IRB dropped their nuts cos of incidents like when the french walked right up to the All Blacks and stood toe to toe, it looked a rumble could have broken out right then and there so thich was the intensity of the haka and challenge.

"Teams have no fear of it. By performing a Haka at the drop of a hat there is now no mystique to it and the fans have actually become bored by it. One should respect it, as they should an Anthem. But YOU do not dictate to everyone what the MUST do."
of course teams have no fear of it, but the All Blacks haka is performed at the start of every test match, not at every drop of the hat,

the fans of the haka are bored of it??? thats news to me and every single kiwi ive ever talked to,

BTW i think that the IRBs guidelines are bullshit too, but ur comments suggesting that NZ had anything to do with the guidelines regarding the haka are more BS.

if i had my way, the opposition should be able to do whatever the fudge they want when the All Blacks do the haka, its a NZ thing after all.

campese had some of the best responses ive ever seen to the haka, while the wallabies would be facing it, he would be at the other end of the field with the ball giving himself up and unders.
campo was way overrated IMO, but his trolling powers deserve respect.

"No-one died and made NZ the rulers of world Rugby and that, my dear is where you have gone very wrong indeed."
ur right, no one died and made NZ the rulers of world rugby.

we became the rulers of world rugby when we sent the All Blacks out into the world and they conquests became the stuff of legends.
while their support army also continued to do nothing but dominate in the rugby world.

All Blacks -
2 RWC
IRB No1 ranked team for nearly 90% of the time since its inception
10 TriNat tiles (from 16)
2 RC/4nats (from 2 with a nice 100% win rate)
only team in the world to win every game in the RWC pool stages
only team in the wolrd to win every test in a calender year
never lost a test to tier 1 countries, ireland or scotland
has never lost a test at eden park in the professional era
has beaten every rugby nation more times in their own back yard the have lost to them in the pro era
has beaten every rugby nation more times in their own back yard the have lost to them, except the Boks and were only 4 tests away from that happening.

find me two nations in the rugby world whos records when combined would beat this.
sure u can play the overrated RWC card, but let me tell u right now, like everything else the All Blacks have touched, it too will succumb to the rugby darkness which is the mighty mighty All Blacks

"Because the rest of the Rugby world has appeared to slowly turn against you."
WTF are u on about, the whole rugby world has always been against NZ, we have and always will be the benchm ark by which all others are measured by.

take a look at the record  above if u want to see why.

"And, as I said, they have finally got it into their heads that you are only mere mortals. Some very talented mortals, some not so talented mortals. And you have often got the breaks because you are NZ."
so they have finally got it in their heads that were only mere mortals.

really???

its 2014 and they have only now finally got it in their heads that were only mere mortals.

i have seriously overrated this english team.

"But now that tide might just have turned, because other teams believe. They don't fear you like they used to."
somebody call disney, cos i got a new blockbuster theme for them.

ask the meyer and his Boks how well their belief and zero fear of the All Blacks have gone for them, LMFAO,

"You just thrive on other teams errors and getting away with blue murder. It's a simple game plan, always has been. Because Rugby is a simple game when played well."ah another boohoo it was the refs fault post.

shall we compare the number of incidents over the years and exchange all the BS incidents???
i would rather not, but unlike the rest of the wolrd, im not drinking from the someone play the worlds smallest violin kool aid.

"And when you tried to stop the Cornish All Blacks from having that name, by taking them to Court ? They have had that name for longer than NZ, yet you tried to bully them out of it because you have more money etc. I mean, how dare you ?"
is ur septic tank over flowing, cos ur covering this thread with all types of shit.

FACT
NZ All Blacks since 1905
cornish all blacks since 1948

the reason the NZRU threatend to stake them to court was cos that two bit bob rugby team tried to trademark the name the All Blacks.

hypothetically it meant that  the real All Blacks would not have been allowed to be called the All Blacks on anything official, broadcasts and the likes without the express permission of cornish waste of space try hard all blacks.

its part of the professional world, adidas might want to be associated with the NZ All Blacks, but that dosent mean they want anything to with some piss ant litte team like cornbeef all blacks.
what am i getting NZRU had no choice but to sue for a many number of good reasons.

"Advertising and Sponsorship is what is killing this game, not making it. Get that into your heads."
that is one opinion.

IMO rugby needs money in order for it grow, and the most efficient way of getting money is through advertisement and sponsorships.

why dont u ask the red rose to forsake all their sponsorships for the sake of the game???
just kidding, i dont want u to get ur feelings hurt when they throw u out the door,

"But we shall know who to blame, so thank you, NZ."
ur welcome!!!

errrrr and just so were on the same page, were blaming global arming right??? or was it the ref, or the multi billion corportain known as the NZRU, or maybe even santa, for not giving u the win last weekend when u deserved it as much as the All Blacks,

ur comments are pretty much like the vast majority of every local here, devoid of facts and full of made up rubbish to further enhance ur cause.
considering the population of NZ and the population of nearly everywhere else, as long as u continue to spread such false info with the gusto of a scientologist preaching fact, the world is going to be full of dumb rugby people.

those are the people the uchiha clan blame.

FWIW - the haka seems to be a great advertisement for rugby. You would be surprised at how many kids here in the US the haka is the only thing they know about rugby because they saw it somewhere on the internet and think its way cool and want to play the sport.
Yes, those of us who watch countless games are tired of seeing it at times but I watch it every time the Boks and All-Blacks play and still get goosebumps. I only wish they would allow the opposing team to accept the haka challenge somehow - by walking up slowly, standing much closer or responding somehow. Surely there is some kind of appropriate response. Tradition, respect and the warrior spirit fit like a glove with the rugby ethos.

Oimatey: Yes, I wish other teams could respond also. The Haka is best respected by a response but the officials pretty much outlawed that & also established the rule stating the distance that must be maintained by the opposing team wh en the Haka is performed. When Pacific Island teams play each other both do their own Haka, e.g AB v Fiji, etc.
There are odd occasions when fights broke out when the Haka was performed and these are on Youtube but these are extremely rare. Paranoid official have gone overboard if you ask me.

Becs, you are the epitomy of a "Whingeing Pom"!Firstly, you are talking through your arse about this so called "shortfall"at the last RWC in NZ. Before we were awarded it years ago the IRB knew that we did not have the capacity to sell enough tickets to make the required coin so the NZ GOVT guaranteed to cough up the necessary $$ to make it a financial success in IRB terms. This they duly did so I presume you got your fantasy info from the same source as your history of the Cornish All Blacks which Sasu has correctly pointed out as seriously deficient!Secondly, do you think anyone on here is really enthralled that your aunt went out with an England squad member? My best mate's dog was once at the same vets as Colin Meads' cat, so there!!And next you'll be telling us your bro would've been in the England team if only for his career ending injury.Thirdly, we know England invented the game, but like most games you invented, you are now sadly down the pecking order in World rankings including rugby.Fourthly, as for the Haka, the mere fact that you say no-one fears it only confirms what I have always believed and that is teams DO fear it! The more you talk about it the better as far as I'm concerned. If teams are talking about it, they're not concentrating on the rugby.......good job!So get a life Becs and stop your bleating. Envy can be a curse and eat away at you.Just ask Hasbeeno, he knows what it feels like!

I never thought I would see the day when I had to stand up for the Kiwis but the time has come. I find all this All Black bashing unbelievable. They are great for the game. The reason they always beat us Aussies is because they play better Rugby and it goes for every other team they beat . Last year I lost a bet on the Bledisloes and have had to wear a NZ Rugby shirt that says there is no crying in Rugby unless you an Australian once a week until this series. As the bet is nearly over I am willing to have the Australian changed to South African or Pom and gladly pass it on.

Boo Hoo hoo. The poor kiwis are getting hammered for cheating at rugby. How sad. It breaks me heart. Bwahahhahahahaha
The simple facts are  kiwis are taking stick deservedly from rugby folk around the world. Their captain is widely know as mccheat. Their misdoings are endless.Ou saSUE keeps trotting out his fraudulent ab record thinking it impresses anyone! Hahhahahahahahaha. His way of thinking is echoed by many of his unfortunate countrymen. The kiwi modis operandi is - crook the other side out of the game - just win the game at any cost (JW) - then point to your superior win record - then accuse them of being whingeing losers. Hahahahahahahaha it's so silly really. This oak couldnt even admit the Boks dominated nz before isolation yet he was claiming the abs were the best test side prior to islolation Hahhaahahahhahahaha. A number of folk put him righrt on that score.
Kiwis, lets face facts, you have a dreadful reputation in the rugby world and its getting worse each year. Surely you realise folk will not accept this forever and that it is clear the tide is running against you. Now what can be done about this very unfortunate state of affairs.Do us all a favour and clean up your act. Its the right thing to do. Having done that you will find folk will stop disliking you.
Justin Marshal and the kiwi rugby commentators who repeatedly say outrightly how the kiwi opposition is being shafted.Of course that doesnt change the outcome for the opposition side being robbed blind and loosing the match. Now please kiwis I ask you very nicely - just admit you are serial cheats, repent of this wrong doing and mend your ways and the kiwi rugby reputation will improve over time. It will take time due to the repuation having been so blackened. However should you do this you will have Beeno's full support.
Beeno making an appeal to the better nature of the kbbs.
My own theory about this relates to the small man syndrome. NZ is a small country at the botom end of the world. Their huge fear is if the dont do well at rugby folk would forget they exist!! Hhahahahahahaha
All that said we have some excellent kiwis here such as JW , Hacked waaaugh, Cloudy etc etc. However it is our duty to set the record straight and hope that somehow more Justin Marshalls will raise their voices in nz and say enough is enough - if we can't win fair and square its better to lose. Will some of these voices come from the kiwis on this board as they  have their eyes opened as to the nefarious going ons by nz rugby? One lives in hope .

Hasbeeno, one lives in hope that you have fired your Latin teacher...."modis operandi"???!!!Like I said to the whingeing Becs, envy is a curse......just breathe in slowly and try to let it go or it'll take years off your miserable life. It must be painful being 2nd best but it's a reality you must accept old mate!
