Using the present exchange rate of circa R14 per US dollar that would entail about $4 850 000. For a 5 year contract it would mean about $860 000 per year. This is merely calculation based on what was in a recent rugby report.
It is more likely that the offer would be a $1 million a year - a very good contract for a rugby player.
