I'll only be seeing the game in a later replay but from the reports it seems like the Stormers scraped through by the skin of their teeth. Well done again Cheetahs, I don't know how many more times I'm going to say so but it really doesn't matter seeing as they play a great brand of rugby.

If not scoring tries is a great brand of rugby, then maybe you are correct.

Well I definitely dont want to be in coach Meyer's boots right now. His supposed captain, De Villiers and the likes of Bekker and Etsebeth were show up last night.

What to do? put more Bulls into the side and piss everybody else off!!

Sorry Denny, I misunderstood. I did not notice that you were referring to the Cheetahs' brand of rugby.

Blue - Etzebeth and Bekker shown up???????what match were you watching, that is the biggest load of rubbish I have read in ages.

Next you will be telling me Earle and v/d Westhuizen were better than Etzebeth and Bekker?

sorry to keep you wondering for so long windpom but one has to salute the Mighty Stormers. Giving away that soft intercept try could have sunk a lesser tem.

The defence of the Stormers on their goals line while being a man down against the demented Cheetahs will no doubt be one of the great moments in the history of the game.

It was not a convincing win but showed immense character. However the Stormers pack as I have noted are seriously missing the likes of Burger, Vermuelen and of course Liebeneberg should have started. The Cheetahs can be thankful these three did not start . These are the men that you take into battle when the intensity reaches white hot.

My concerns remain and the facts are simple. The Stormers need to keep winning and hope they are in with a shout till Vermuelen and Burger return and hope there are no more injuries.

Sinclair was disappointing and really did little but it was his first game. However one is still in the dark as to his capabilities at the end of the game. Elstadt was immmense and has booked his palce in the Bok side  no question about it. In fact it is as clear as crystal that the Bok loose trio is Burger, Vermulen and Elstadt once they are all fit. Amazing really that there are now 4 loosies crocked!

The Stormers chances depend entirely on having their power pack on the park  Its that simple. The backline underperforms as Alistair is no backline coach and unfrotuntaley fleckie is not either.

Blue is smoking some bulle potion when he trashes Bekker and Etzebeth. Etzebeth is a Bok certainy Bekker actually less so  but who are his chief rivals. That back problem is a worry.

Please note bulle that Jean said that the second half was not up to scatch and Stormers will go nowhere if they dont step it up. Quite so Jean. Pity our bulle"friends cannot attain the hights of objectivity we do.Bwahahahahahahahaha

As for the cheetahs well one has to ask why they have not played with this white hot  intensity before. Is it a one off or can they play like  this again? Cheetahas need to take a hard look at them selves. Had they plyed like this they would have won a lot more even dispite bent refs. Van Zyl is a gem and looks like a more natural scrummie perhaps even than Hougaard. Very strong fast and dynamic. The guy taking over from Sias , whose name escapes me, also looks very good.

So well played Cheethas sorry you had to lose but all the best from now on in.

Hahahaha. I stopped reading at: "Stormers pack as I have noted are seriously missing..............."

The question is: "Why didn't you post Cardinelli's article from Keo?"

Show me which teams are not not missing any players? The Bulls are missing quite a few players, yet they sit gloriously on top of the log. Did the Cheetah's wonder boy not miss yesterdays game?

Nope, the Stormers were damn lucky to win this one.
