Rubbish. If the All Blacks beat the Pumas with a bonus point then all we have to do to win the RC is beat them with a 4 try bonus point of our own and deny them a bonus point for losing by 7 or less . . . unless they smash the Pumas with a big enough score tonight to turn the points difference around which I doubt.
Anyway, we'll know in a few more hours exactly what we'll have to do next weekend but your assumption that we'll definitely finish second if the All Blacks get a bonus point tonight is just plain ignorant.

Firstly, congratulations to Bok fans! Have not watched the game yet but from a few updates I saw on Planet rugby the Bok forwards were rampant.
Secondly, how many yellow cards were there for each side, isn't this the way Boks fans figure out who won the game now? Sorry guys, I couldn't resist, lol

JW, the first half and end of second half were the more entertaining rugby. Forwards weren't really rampant, our backs played well because of the mind of Le Roux and Du Preez. Vermeulen, Etzebeth and Strauss played well the rest of the forwards were mediocre at best with Flip being disastrous.

This is a theoretical question. If the Springboks play against the All Blacks like they played today against the Wallabies - there is not one in a million chance that they will beat the All Blacks in any event. Too many serious deficiencies in their game was exposed today - especially in the first ten minutes when there was bugger-up after bugger-up, in the last ten minutes of the first half and in 30 minutes in the second half.

Ha ha Mike, always the master of doom...Do you even support the Boks or are you lying to yourself? Me thinks you need to have a serious conversation with yourself.
Anyway, Aussies, Argentina, Wales, England or timbucktoo are not the All Blacks. Springbok/AB test matches are a different intensity and players just seem a lot more fired up when they see that black jersey.I am confident we can win next weekend and in truth be told, if the AB's finish one point ahead of us in the rugby championship log, I couldnt care less as long as we beat them in the match.
I will be happy that the championship was decided on a wrong/reversed red card in, you guessed it, the most fair place to play rugby in the world, NZL!
This team of ours is on the up and thats all that matters right now.

I suppose if this happens i is unlikely that the All Blacks will be within 7 points to get a one pointer.
It will be tough, but looking at the way the Argentinian fowards dominated the All Black forwards it is possibale

All black forwards were pissing me off and I beat they got there ass chewed off by Hansen at half time. They finally got into gear in the second half. The only reason the Argy forwards were pushing the AB around was the AB forward pack were lazy and gutless. They lacked commitment and urgency. Allowing the pumas to clean us up at the breakdown and stopping what little momentum the AB could scrap up.
But don't get your hopes up SA, All Blacks crank threw the gears when they feel really threatened. And they will be well and truly threatened in SA. and have a reality check when the Monster BOk forwards start breaking up there defense and find holes. Or create them threw individual strength of one on to three to drop an attacker. NZ have a ability to let the field advantage turn against them, but not the point talley. Then once they have them believing there getting some we're, they flick the switch. SA are to tired to defend themselves. All Blacks by 15 points. Be a tough battle only a few points between them....till around the 60 min mark. Then the subs start flowing the next wave of attack.

All sounds good in theory Papamoa. I feel the NZL will be leading 8-1 then SA will come back to win 8-9.
Oh are we talking rugby now? Thought we were still on yachting. I guess we will just have to wait and see what pans out next week ;-) No mind games amongst the bloggers please. Next week is the 2013 final. The winner of this game will tell us who is the best international team in 2013..I can live with NZl retaining the championship cup just as long as we can beat the AB's. If we do it with 4 tries and keep NZL from gaining a point, that is just a bonus but I would not care if we win 3-0 on Saturday as long as we beat the AB's.

Good luck BOk logic. It will be a massive test. A great battle. AB are very keen to get another piece of the SA. They did feel disappointed with the way it went in Auckland. Sooner they get the job done the better. SA will do everything humanly possible to stop them. Look forward to this.

@ Hakwa, we don't pay the Refs to red card anybody, but I guess you're talking from experience point of view
