They would win on Saturday. This guy is the warrior among SA players..... a man who seeks out the opponent, rather than shying away. But too many of the other Bools lose their combatative spirit when they leave Loftus.
In an odd way Morne is the other warrior.....in the sense that he has been able to do what he does, kicking goals, under pressure. The big question about him is whether that's still true.
The rest I fear lack gumption.
Take Pierre Spies.....a guy who couldn't summon up a whiff of fight as the Boks left the RWC. Pierre wont be in the vanguard. Nor will Wynand a serial folder under pressure. Nor will Basson another wimp.....and Inzane will get more frenetic and less effective. Flip Flop will concede a few penalties, Kruger will have an off today......Potgieter will batter away without much effect. Werner will lose his bind and his composure.
Nope I'm afraid it comes down to Hougaard and in this case one is not enough.
