If the Bools had 15 Hougaards

They would win on Saturday. This guy is the warrior among SA players..... a man who seeks out the opponent, rather than shying away. But too many of the other Bools lose their combatative spirit when they leave Loftus.

In an odd way Morne is the other warrior.....in the sense that he has been able to do what he does, kicking goals,  under pressure. The big question about him is whether that's still true.

The rest I fear lack gumption.

Take Pierre Spies.....a guy who couldn't summon up a whiff of fight as the Boks left the RWC.  Pierre wont be in the vanguard. Nor will Wynand a serial folder under pressure. Nor will Basson another wimp.....and Inzane will get more frenetic and less effective. Flip Flop will concede a few penalties, Kruger will have an off today......Potgieter will batter away without much effect. Werner will lose his bind and his composure.

Nope I'm afraid it comes down to Hougaard and in this case one is not enough.

Moz the trouble now is they have made Pierre their captain.  It will take a lot for them to drop this pumped up wing, Something defintely goes awry with the bulle away from altitude at Loftus. Hence ones pessmism re their chances in nz.

Bulle have strayed from their roots. They used to field powerful packs with hard men. Today they do not dominate physically and due in no small way to the detrimental matfield legacy they field lightweight locks  (okay  they are bigger than wee matfield but still small), who cant dominate. A small hooker and a weak tighthead and a puped up wing complete the picture.They try hard but are simply outgunned.

Bulle backs are not too bad and at least they score tries.
