Incumbent side and next best
Dave
It would be in teresting to see what Erasmus and Browne come up with. You are probably right about the loosies - especially
Du Toit and Roos as playes that have the ball sense and skills to participate in backline attacks.
Roos is not an incumbent. He has hardly any test exposure…..he needs to show he can do it at the next level. But he does have the ability to run with the ball….something our ball carrier Dud Toit sorely lacks. He also helps out with Dud Toit’s woeful inability on the ground. I hope he makes it.
No more Lomp….a never has been.
And in the backs there is zero chance the incumbent side can execute a switch to a ball in hand game plan. Why? Because there there is road block…. cul de sac at 12. Put Dud in space and he will veer into the first defender he can find.
And please don’t tell us how Dud was in 67 world teams McCaw was in many more and you don’t rate him.
The other thought that comes to mind is how old this team is in the forwards. Eluckmiss has zero starters he introduced. That leaves us with a complete revamp before WC 2027.
Ruben ahead of lood any day for me ...can RG play 4 when Eben retires?
