Two big injuries to Stormers who need to be concerned about being the wooden spooners this year. Kings will be coming after them with all they've got and they have shown they can win.

Sharks have really had the backline injury jinx this year

All teams have to deal with injuries, but in the case of the Sharks and Stormers, they have been crippled by injuries. It is obvious to me that top tier players are playing too much rugby and that is a large contributing factor, but in the case of the Stormers, I am convinced that it is their strategy that is causing the injury crisis. This is the second year in a row that they have a ridiculous number of players out injured, and it has to be down to their outdated game plan putting their players in harms way. On Bekker, it sounds to me like it is just a recurring injury, which tells me it was never properly treated the first time round. This is the third or fourth time he has been ruled out for a long time due to a back injury. Fix it properly FFS!! These guys are being forced to play too much rugby, the corporate buggers need to look at the well being of players and not just at the dollar signs the players bring them.

So, what is the problem? Conditioning or player management or both?

Too much rugga Cera, but the problem is compounded by conditioning and players management!

Bluebok the result are too uneven. Cheetahs, Kings and Bulle have nowhere near the injury levels the Sharks or Stormers have had.

Kings and Cheetahs very little.Who besides Goosen are they missing? Kings likewise. Bulle injuries were higher but not anywhere near the two costal sides and their players come back after a  few weeks and now they are at about full strength.

All teams play the same amount of games but rotation could be a factor. Style of play, technique in taking contact and conditioning etc are all factors

One has to conclude though its not just a matter of luck. Two classy sides have been ambushed by injuries and serious attention should be given to establishing why. Stormers are seriously in the dwang right now.

Can ou rooitwit resist the temptation to have a go. Hahahahahahaha
