you all watch Wimbledon. Yes watch a bit of rugby etc but you need some relief from bent down under refs and racist anc policies. You also need a break from moronic policies which make things even worse. Be gentle with yourself. Your sanity could be at stake!!!All the above does not apply to warped DUD, ab ASS and others I could mention as they are too far gone! You know who you are.

"Beeno offering valuable life style advice in an attempt to halt the progression into folly by so many here." What does that even mean? You make me laugh Mr Beenis! Who are you backing? Jock-o-bitch? Lol I always want Murray to lose. Dunno why but I really dislike that guy. Fed will always be my favorite...partly because he's buddies with Gavin from Bush :)

Hahhahahaha Andy though is not a bad guy. His winning might cheer up the whining, tearful remainers who lost the referendum. These idiots want to be ruled by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels who favour mass immigration! How utterly moronic!
Go Farage. One hopes the next election will give hima huge lift. The only one that can be trusted!!

Plum; please notice that poor wee Beeno is unable to handle rugby these days so he has launched a massive distraction, i.e. the squeaky Trum@pet section below & now discussions on that game played with tiny balls (tennis).
He puts his wee head of of the cave below occasionally & by random chance sometimes makes a valid point on rugby. His point about picking a style of play & then picking the players to implement it has some merit but of course the style of play you pick has to take into account the players you have to some extent. Otherwise it's delusional (something one member of this board is well known for).
Beeno, wee Farage has put himself out of a job. As a member of the European Parliament (elected) he picked up his salary and benefits for 17 years and no doubt will get a good pension also. He bleated away raucously with no constructive input to the legislation which was voted for by all members of the European Parliament. Yes, the EU laws are not approved by faceless bureaucrats (the European Commission can only propose laws). The Parliament (made up of elected officials like your brainless mate Farage) vote yeah or nay. The Council (made up of elected officials from the heads of government like Cameron) also have a major say in which laws pass. Then each Member State (like Briton) has to pass the laws in the legislative bodies. So you see Beeno, once again you have got it wrong. Best stick to rubgy.

JW you are all at sea once again. Yes Farage has put himself out of a job. BUT JW that is just an indication of who he puts first - the British people about to lose their self government and about to be over run by immigrants etc.Junker told lying dave cameruin there would be no more concessions a fact that sunk lying dave. So don't talk about Farage who has consistently the EU bureacrats of their extreme folly re political integration. Farage had the joy of telling teh EU parliament he had got the better of them Bwahahahahahhaahhaahahhaha. magnificent speech he has just made. Le Pen is soaring in France and a majority want a referendum. Go to the link I provided and see how each EU country thinks. Man you are so out of touch!

JW is you want to get to grips with the issues please study the posts I make on the esteemed Beeno's Trum*pet.  I have a very good link to analysis of EU countries wanting their won referendums.JW folk are turning against the EU in droves because its so obviously a failed project that no amount of elite globalist propaganda can hide the facts. That traitor Obama is doubling back and saying Brexit is no big problem Hahahahahhahahaha.
So JW no more plaintive bleating please. You are ignorant and have no clue whatsoever. Please get yourself properly informed before going on like this. I would hate you to descend to the level of warped DUD and ab ASS!

Ha ha Beeno, Farage never thought the Brexit rouges would win. But no worries he will have his pension (I doubt he will give it to the NHS). His loud mouth will find a forum somewhere & will dupe someone into paying for his rabble rousing.
So many lies from both sides & politicians looking out for themselves instead of the people who voted them in. As usual, the hope of the common man resides in the fact that sometimes the ambitions of the politicians happens by chance to be the right thing to do. It does happen. M uch like your bleating on rugby matters, if you keep talking eventually you could get something right. One must remain optimistic.

I am quite happy for him to claim a pension after all he has delivered to the UK population what the Majority voted for. Took him 17 years of swimming against the EU tide, worth every penny as far as I am concerned.
Which charity are you donating your pension to....... NZ Refs Glaucoma association?

JW - The problem is basically with the EU and the way it is run.  Even the French Prime Minister said the bureaucrats in Brussels are causing havoc for the general public and the issue must be cleared up.  That is the main reason why the UK voters voted against Remaining in the EU.  The second issue relates to the immigration issue.  The present scenario enhance immigration dumping and resultant lowering of wages - with the ordinary workers being 10% worse off than they were in 2004.    I have yet to come across a thinking voter - where personal situation is not foremost when he/she casts his vote.  The older voters remember the better days of the past and they hate to see what is happening at present.   And they hate the politicians who are looking only after their own interests and once elected forget about their obligations to the voters.   The UK is the first to leave the EU - but will definitely not be the last - there are Eurosceptics all over the show in Europe - hence the call of the French PM to clean up the mess.

Would anybody in their right mind want to have one of those European bureaucrats as their leader. I thoroughly enjoyed Farage's response to their vitriol.
If not for Britain there would still be a joint Europe.....called Greater Germany.

We all know this will result in a lot of change in the UK, assuming they go through with the Brexit & don't find some way to weasel out of it.
Even this thread has prejudicial words in it that block balanced discussion, e.g. Mozart's use of "bureaucrats".This label hardly ever is positive as most people have experienced bureaucracy as being line for something and being confronted with forms that don't make much sense & people behind the desk who don't know or don't care.
Moz, the "bureaucrats" you saw on TV that Farage was addressing were in fact elected official of the Member States. So if they are no good then the voters are to blame.
The other emotional button is immigration. Images of millions of people invading us sets of alarms in everyone - it's part of an instinctive reaction. For sure illegal immigration is a massive problem that has not been handled well at all. But is that enough to leave the EU?
We are robbed, e.g. the NHS - all the problems are because of Brussels & all the money we send them. Well we now know that wasn't the truth now.
Sure there are problems but will pulling out of the EU be the solution? Time will tell. Hopefully we have a good outcome, i.e. Briton is better off & the EU gets its act together and make sure it is connected to the needs of its people.

"The problem is basically with the EU and the way it is run.  Even the French Prime Minister said the bureaucrats in Brussels are causing havoc for the general public and the issue must be cleared up.  That is the main reason why the UK voters voted against Remaining in the EU"
Wrong. That is part of the reason.
"The second issue relates to the immigration issue.  The present scenario enhance immigration dumping and resultant lowering of wages - with the ordinary workers being 10% worse off than they were in 2004."
Wrong again. That is not quite accurate. I will come back to this. The lower wages is a very small part of the issue.
"Mike migration is the issue not immigration. I have not found one Pom (in or out) who is not happy for immigration to happen on the basis of skill or labor shortages. "
Correct. That is closer to the truth.
The bureaucracy of the EU is a problem but it is, IMO, more about the way in which the bunch in the EU parliament are protecting themselves and want to keep their little empire going in their own way than the fact that it is run. The idea of the EU was sound to begin with but when, back in the day, they became an EU Parliament was when they fell of the cliff. They then became a super govt with the rest of the European governments dancing to their tune. They eventually became so engulfed with their power that they no longer regarded the unique needs and claims of individual countries.
Think of Cameron what you want but he is passionate about his country and about what is best for the British people and he has been fighting for Britain in the EU since he became PM.  That is why he was back at the EU and where some would think that he would try and wash his hands and say that he tried, he attacked them straight out and told them in no uncertain terms that they only have themselves to blame. That the British people were gatvol for being discarded. He told them that, back in February, when they rubbished his claims that the Brits were not going to settle for their feeble attempt at making concessions.
On the issue of migration. The situation is that anybody from the EU have the right to arrive at the UK border, throw down his/her passport and has to be let in. Anybody else has to be vetted and some, Like South Africans, needs (since March 2009) prior approved entry visas. They are not allowed to vet any citizen from any EU state. That would not have been a problem, had the EU tuck to the initial member states but they haven't and they have added to the member states almost on a yearly base and those states were all countries that were "less wealthy" than the original states. The result was that the EU virtually started to support these countries financially. That was also OK but suddenly the citizens from those countries flocked to the UK because they could earn "fortunes" in the UK.
I cannot for one moment think that that was the initial  intentions of the EU. It was most probably to find ways to assist those countries to get to a point where their own citizens could earn the same kinds of salaries in their own countries.
The fact that they did start to move ti the UK in numbers are not the main issue and, like BokBF said, the British people have never been against immigrants per se. I know. I am an immigrant myself and I can, in all honesty, say that no Brit has ever mistreated me or abused me for not being British.
Their most important issues about migration are the following:
  1. They have no control over EU migrants and cannot accept only those that are needed - EU rules.
  2. They cannot withhold benefits from migrants. The migrants are entitled to benefits without discrimination. Although their has been a minor concession on this issue, it is still nowhere near what it should be.
  3. Resulting from the above there is also the stress that is put on the NHS because thereof. The tragic part is that  it is even possible for people, who has never been in the UK, to have medical treatment outside of the UK on the account of the NHS. There was an article about a woman in Hungary who had someone in the UK help her to obtain a letter stating that this person was her landlord in the UK and that that was her permanent address. She was then registered with the NHS. She gets her treatment in Hungary, shows her NHS card and the NHS has to pay up. That would have gone on for ages had somebody not accidentally found out about it and blew the whistle on it.
  4. They cannot deport EU members who have been involved in crime and have been found guilty. EU ruling.
  5. They cannot deport a terrorist whose home country has asked for his/her extradition. The EU rules say that if their is any reason to believe that he would not get a fair trial in his own country they cannot extradite him. There was the case of the doos from Jordan, IIRC, who was to be extradited. It tokk them ten years and millions of pounds and numerous EU court cases to get him out. All the while he was spewing hatred against Britain and the Brits on a daily bases and there was nothing that they could do. EU rules.
  6. The UK has no right to even offer any special privileges to their own Commonwealth countries. Countries like Aus, NZ, Canada, SA, et al who have been part and parcel of the Commonwealth for ages has to fall in line behind all of the EU countries, including those from Eastern Europe who have joined the EU recently and even Turkey when they will be joining soon. EU rules.

All in all it is way more complex than what ComradMike thinks it is.

 @WD.
There is no denying that the money sent to the EU is not effectively £350M after all, but that it is rather closer to somewhere between £250M and £300M, IIRC. That is still a hell of a lot of money over a year.
I agree that illegal immigration is not that major an issue but then again, illegal immigration is not the issue. The issue is the uncontrolled legal migration with literally open borders for citizens from EU countries and the accompanying burdens on the NHS.
There is also another issue. All the money that the migrants earn does not stay behind in the UK economy. The migrants send out millions of pounds per day. There was a documentary last year where they showed how much money is sent out of the UK to the families of migrants outside of the UK.

Ceradyne; fact is I don't know of any reliable analysis of the contributions UK send to the EU and benefits that they accrue. That would have helped everyone make the decision. I have heard strange things, e.g. Prince Charles is a major beneficiary of the Agricultural subsidy as he is one of the biggest land owners in the UK - true? I don't know. I do know that farmers are subsidized though.
On migrants sending money out of the UK, I am sure a lot of money does go out to their families from their country of origin. Does this mean they are a net loss for the UK? I don't know that either. I have heard they contribute more that they take but again no reliable analysis.
I guess we will have to wait to see how all this progresses now that the votes have been tallied. I hope the racism, bitterness & even hatred dissipate. That doesn't do anyone any good.

JW most elected officials are bureaucrats in the sense I use the word. Given the vast diversity of Europe, is an overarching bureaucracy wise? I doubt it.
This should always have been about commerce....not even about economic policy. The straight jacket of the common currency is killing the weaker nations, with sovereign deflation being the only real solution given exchange rate changes are unavailable.

Now there is a lot of bluster. Words that mean less than nothing....but the vote is done. The key issue which leads the Bureaucrats  to come up with cute phrases like "no a la carte exit"....is import duties. Does the UK get treated as part of The European Economic Area like Norway....or not, in which case import duties in the 8% range will apply....for goods coming into and out of the U.K.
The question the bureaucrats are trying to figure out is whether the risk of further defections outweighs the damage of the duties. That and whether they can put the needle in, without damaging themselves.
These pr.icks who never made one conciliatory gesture before the the  vote are going to have a hard time being big. Their 4 freedoms conspicuously ignore the freedom to preserve your own culture.

I am fully with you on the last paragraph, although I am very sure that that only come form a small minority.
There was a documentary down by the BBC's Nick Robinson, not long ago, about the cost of the EU. Let me first say that I am more drawn towards Nick Robinson than Laura Kuenssberg. Her MO always seems to be to at first try and belittle whoever she is interviewing and to create the impression that the interviewee is a bumbling idiot who knows f'all. Nick's interviews and documentaries are more balance, IMO. Nick started of with the £350M and then started explaining that we also pay out this and then we get that back and so on and so on and eventually he arrived at a nett figure of somewhere in between 200 and 250 mil. That, IMO, is still a hell of a lot of money. Yes, the leave guys should have ahd their figures spot on but they fact that it was not that accurate does not make them insignificant.
Fact is that everybody, I think, knows the importance of migration. For instance, there are apparently about 3M migrants in the UK. In addition, there are 1.2M in the rest of Europe. Of course many of those are pensioners who has retired in Europe. Let's say that there  are 1M working there. If they had to swap them around, it would leave the UK with a shortfall of 2M. There can be an argument that there are 1.5M unemployed but, IMO, a hell of a lot of those are unemployed by choice. If, however, they manage to put all of those unemployed into work,  they would still fall short of 500K workers. Nah. Migration will always be with us.

Mozart relaxing after having counted his gains
Evidence provided by the society of ill-gotten gain
"On freedom to preserve our own culture", the European Commission is inefficient partly because of efforts to do this, e.g. one of the biggest expenses is related to translation & interpretation of languages. All in an effort to preserve the culture of the member countries - language being considered a key component of culture. What would you propose to do? The Empire has gone so fond memories are just that.

Brexit happened because:They didnt want their parliament supercededDidn't want their courts superceded. Didn't want Brussels to determine their trade partners. Did want mass immigration fouling up NHS, Housing and schools.Didn't want mass immigration changing their culture, values and norms. In fact they want Britain to remain white.Didn't like terrorist threat via open borders. Don't like capital being taken over by immigrants and governed by muslim.Didn't like the vast and crushing bureaucracy. One size doesn't fit all
Now how do i know all this. I have been looking at the blogs on numerous UK newspapers etc. While some still suck up the globalist dream of multiculturalism most do not and increasing so as it has not worked. They realise they are being invaded. The globalist  and their media want immigration and multicuturalism for cheap labour and also to break don the nation state. They want a world government they rule.Obummer and crooked hillary want the same as they are globalists. However the peoples of the EU are fighting back as are the Americans and Trum*p.If the globalists finally win you will see a tyranny of unparalled magnitude
HERE IS WHAT THE AMERICANS FEAR FROM THE GLOBALISTS

God help us if this liar becomes president.

A Hillary victory means this:
*ObamaCare stays.
*Taxpayer-funded abortions will increase.
*Partial Birth Abortion will be acceptable. The sale of body parts will continue.
*Death Squads for the elderly becomes a fact.
*Christian hospitals close since they refuse to follow gov't policy on abortion.
*Globalization increases at the expense of US sovereignty.
*The border vanishes. Immigration from anywhere is accepted.
*All illegals will become citizens and will be allowed to vote.
*Jobs will continue to disappear because of immigration and bad trade deals.
*Many businesses will close due to the living wage adding to unemployment.
*Increased Bureaucratic regulations will force private businesses to close.
*Acts of terrorism will become commonplace.
*The 2nd Amendment will disappear, but the criminals will have guns,
*A Vat Tax will be enacted. Taxes on businesses will increase.
*The Carbon Tax will be enacted.
*Taxes go up on everyone due to Social Justice policies.
*All private pensions will be taken over by the government.
The Rich will flee this country.
*The US will go bankrupt.
*Fracking will go the way of coal.
*Oil production will go down and energy costs will go thru the roof.
*The citizen will be taxed on the number of miles they travel.
*The military will be gutted.
*Our nukes will be further reduced, possibly eliminated.
*Political Correctness will replace the 1st Amendment.
*Christian ministers and priests will be monitored for what they say.
*Children will be questioned by the schools as to their parent's thoughts.
*The end of Conservative Talk Radio. It will be called HATE SPEECH.
HILLARY APPOINTS A SUPREME COURT JUSTICE AND THE LIBERALS WILL FOREVER CONTROL THE COURT AND THE CONSTITUTION. ELECTIONS WILL BE MEANINGLESS BECAUSE TRUE CITIZENS WILL BE OUTVOTED. 1984 WILL HAVE ARRIVED AND THE US WILL BE FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGED.
