The upcoming round has some interesting matches and my comments on some of those are as follows:-
The Blues - Sharks game
The Sharks has disgraced themselves thus far in Super Rugby and the upcoming game will add to the established disgrace - an easy win for the Blues is a certainty.
The Rebels - Hurricanes game
The Rebels had an exemplary run until they came up against the sub-standard Waratahs and the upcoming game can be a route as well.
The Bulls-Stormers game
From an SA perspective this is probably the most interesting game of all - not only from a win-loss point of view - but also from the perspectives of competing players for Sprinmgbok selection. .
There are some very interesting selections where players are in competition for Springbok selection. In this category the following will be interesting:-
* The lock situation - especially with De Jager being involved* The scrummie situation looking especially at Ivan van Zyl/Papier being playing* The performance of Pollard and Willemse - the real contenders for Springbok selection as flyhalfs* The center situation where De Allende and Kriel will be opposed by Odendaal and Viljoen
Beeno will have a fit - but I give the Bulls a 50:50 chance in winning the game, the only real problem being the recent travelling schedule of the Bulls.
The Lions-Crusaders game
The Lions was so disgustingly poor recently it would be a walk-in-the park for the Crusaders.
