When last have you two watched rugby games - I assume you missed out on things totally for years now. The kick like illustrated have been in use for at least the last ten years and I have seen it used in school ruby 50 years ago, What a huge discovery the Crusaders made here - total BS. They may use it more frequently than the duds we have as coaches allowed SA teams to use it,
Believe me they would rather kick at goal - after all three points is worth more than 7 points - but it has ben used by thinking coaches the world over.

If you actually read the article, you'll notice they mention that "old school trick" as they call it (along with the decades old screen shot as illustration) simply as conceptual inspiration for the deception tactics around the lineout and maul that the rest of the article discusses (which have absolutely nothing to do with tap kicks).

Come now Tokkie .....open that closed bear trap that passes as your mind. There is new stuff to learn here.
Remember 5 or so years back when I proposed the high cross kick into the in goal are when given penalty advantage. You derided the idea....now it's almost standard practice.
Stick with moz, look smart and save yourself 5 years.
