The odds still favour a draw with weather or a Proteas win. But it looked concerning whenOz was 120 without loss on a dead wicket, with Parnell not fit to bowl. It was an odd end to the SA innings. I would have thought another 4 overs with instructions to go for everything might have been the ticket, so basically I agree Denny. The declaration brought Oz back into the game.

Well AJ I can't argue with that. I couldn't have been more wrong in retrospect. What a brilliant bowling spell from Steyn... He really is a master of reverse swing. This sets up a great Newlands test!

I'm no expert Arthur J, from the safety of my couch I often get it wrong and in this case I'm quite happy to be wrong. Glad to see Steyntjie getting it right when it most mattered.
