from Smith to declare with so much time left although it's safe to say that he's hung it out there with rain being forecast. Hindsight is a perfect science and the boots are going to fly in if it backfires on him, so my question is ...do you agree with his decision?
For my money I believe he should have batted for another 40 odd runs allowing some compensation for being 1 bowler shy.

In retrospect Smith actually declared about half an hour too late - but since they were 151/1 I suppose everyone was jittery. the Aussies made a total of 90 runs for 9 wickets.
My guess is they will not win the Newlands test Was it a few years ago when they made 47 all out in the second innings there after a first innings lead of near to 200 and then lost the test by 8 wickets. That would be a huge nightmare for them - thinking a repeat of that may happen again.
