Heading into a QF Izzy at 15 would have brought a lot more confidence to this wobs supporter...

It appears that the internal politics of the minority groups in Aus conspired to take him out of the game...

For ths sake of sanity I really hope these scumbag/s get embroiled... and become personally liable for the injustices against izzy...

The qantas ceo is australia's highest paid ceo at approx 24Mil per annum...

Then he has the audacity to gloat over his gay ("very expensive") wedding... seriously beyond a joke... especially for the average rugby supporter in this country.. (middle upper income conservative educated background - interestingly exactly in sweetspot of Qantas' target market)

dont know if these post should be here or over with beenos trumpet - but shows the state of rugby in aus when a fat old lefty LGBT solicitor woman and a gay CEO of an airline dictates the outcome of the wallabies team........

Sorry Red but Folau is an ignorant, homophobic twat. Add the fact that he was stupid enough to send that tweet after being sanctioned before on the subject and then had the audacity to challenge the obvious outcome Could he be more stupid? I’m very pleased he is out of the game - we don’t need prejudicial idiots as role models for our kids

Is this a joke?   However, I would recommend putting it in the Beeno section, aka the Trump(et).

Folau believes a lawyer who is held in the highest peer respect of the legal profession should not be involved in the decision.

Ms Eastman is a co-founder and member of Australian Lawyers for Human Rights, which Folau points out is an organisation that advocated for the LGBTI community.

She has also been the chair of the Law Council of Australia’s Equal Opportunity Committee; the NSW Bar Association’s Diversity and Equality Committee; and the Australian Bar Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Folau believes her bias has prejudiced the outcome. Anyone involved in human rights would have a similar ideology. Was he expecting Hitler to chair the proceedings?

Eastman would protect Christians or other ethnic groups from similar abuse, but Folau is just too stupid to see this. Just because her beliefs are not tolerant of intolerance , that does not make her intollerant...

It's ridiculous.

There are a millions concessions atheists and agnostics make in order to uphold one's freedom of religion.

Christians talk about "sinners" and the fate that awaits them. How they are lost, how they have turned their back on God, how the have fallen victim to the great tempter and on and on. And the majority of us accept it because we understand that without freedom of religion we are not free to be fence sitters or non-believers. That freedom holds us all in balance and allows any of us, from either side, to change our mind at any time without any physical/real world consequence. It's a cornerstone of true freedom.

If this is the road that Oz rugby want to walk then it is up to them to take  all religious manuscripts, doctrine and oral systems and spell out exactly what constitutes hate speech in each faith or tradition. In other words, edit them accordingly.

They then need to pass their order of muting religious views through human rights and constitutional courts and affect bans on certain  religious views.

Yes, views, not speech, but views.

The reason being that it is illogical to ban the spoken word without outlawing the ideas behind it. It's akin to saying that you can grow all the poppy you want but if you are caught with it you'll be charged. If a minister in a church can preach freely, and collect millions in donations while doing so, there is no reason why a sportsman cannot discuss his views pointed publically.

That is to say, unless the player openly supports something he believes to be evil, he is not worthy of the jersey. The bible places an onus on believers to speak out and fight against what it determines to be evil. It's key to the evangelical Christian system.

This man is following what he and billions of others believe to be the word of God. His faith tells him that no man or government can dictate above scripture. And he follows his faith. That is what he was taught to do, likely since childhood. And he has has followed orders.

This is discrimination on the basis of religion. And it is contrary to freedom of speech, association and religion.

I've never had an issue with tolerance. Be it gays, lefties, rightists, alternative lifestyles whatever. Do as you fucking please.

As it stands, myself and many like me have had just about enough.

Careful, we'll start fighting back soon.

The resident pervs just love how the LGBT perverts are trying to get people who don't agree with their sick perversion fired. Nobody must criticise the perverts.

The resident pervs also love how the LGBT pervs are targeting our children. They rejoice if a child goes trans.

These are ALL very sick people and normal people are becoming sick and tired of their BS.

Another globalist left group got beat up real bad. The Extinctinction Rebellion freaks ( Climate change nutjobs) got on top of a train in London and delayed the trains departure. This so incensed commuters that they hauled the twits off the trains roof and beat them up. Everyone was saying how this should now next happen to Anifa. Let these pervs carry on like they are doing and they will face the wrath of the people. No doubt about it. The anger against these LGBT supremacists grows day by day.

Frankly a good hiding will do the wackoes some good. The commuters beating up the Extinction Rebellion freaks was hugely applauded. The public has had enough of these type of freaks. Who the heck do they think they are!

As for that great man Folau, hope you win a huge settlement. Hope Quantas gets boycotted and the freak goth woman Raylene gets fired as the ARU faces bankruptcy. Time to put the LGBT pervs back in their box.

Saffex disgusts me he is a serious PERV! He will probably be overjoyed when his son becomes perv as well! The word KARMA comes to mind.

In a court of law the Judge and Jury are God, and make the call. We are subject to man-made laws, regardless of what religion we follow or do not follow.
No one can be 100% sure about anything like morals, spirituality, afterlife etc, etc. It may even be possible that we are just evolved monkeys that have no afterlife, no heaven and no God. If this is the case, then Falou has even less justification. Just like if there is no Allah, the Muslims have even less justification.
With so many religions, it stands to reason that at least 99% of them are wrong. Then all religion is quoting the more of primitives from thousands of years ago. Blind faith could just be the product of brainwashing, passed on from generation to generation by indoctrination of religious organisations.
Bottom line is that many religious people that have a platform like a professional sportsperson do not feel the need, to try to banish people to hell that do not support their beliefs. If the Nazis believed they were the "master race" - it does not mean it is fact, or justification for being intolerant to something that no one can really be sure about.
There are also some religious people who practise what they preach - and understand what Folau did was wrong, for the simple reason they are decent people- with some understanding of the underlying morals of a religion.
Folau has learnt the hard way. God has punished him, and banished him from the game. I heard the devil is looking for a new fullback.

I guess more my point is... best player for Wobs sideline by minority politics... but it isnt even standardised across world rugby let alone any sport...

Eg AB have a convicted wife bashing fijian irish Sevu Reece winger.

Stoke (kiwi pom) cricketer was out the front of gay bars BASHING gays....

The list of other violent and drug abuses is nearly endless...

Folau simply stated his belief in scripture like billions earthwide proclaim to have faith in.... but... not allowed to advocate it...

If he was a muslim saying this... the outcome would have been different 10000000000% g'tee...

And more importantly it sucks that Beale will drop 95% of bombs at him in a few hours time.
