After his dismal performnce against the Stormers it is indeed surprising that Matfield is still in the line up.   The ther change was to move Hougaard - after  another dubious oerformance to th wing and bring in Van Zyl as the starting scrummie.

However, the interesting players in the Match day 22 is on the other side of the scale. They will no doubt make a huge impact on the Bulls team in future and in fact came from the Under 20 WC side.  Although we are getting used to the fact that Pollard starts for the Bulls - the other 2014 UWC players are -

*    Jesse Kriel

*    Marcin Ori

*    Nicolaas Janse van Rensburg

Aside from that William Small-Smith stay in contention.

It looks like the Bulls are starting to liene up players for the CC - with a view to the CC and their entry into the Super 15 next year.

Nicolaas Janse van Rensburg is a hard nut no 5 lock and they need one - Matfield is not the answer - he is pap.   Ori is another lock - but not as hard a one as Nic - but then one assumes that Flippie will be back next year.

Small-Smith stay in contention - I am beginning to wonder when he will come into the piicture at 13 and JJ moved to the wing.  In any event Jesse Kriel is a future superstar at 13 in any event - he was absolutely superb during the JWC.

Incidentally the UWC players are already making an impact - Du Toit was very good as a prop for the Sharks last Saturday.

Wake up you idiot, Ndungane is injured, hence playing Hougaard on the wing and v/Zyl at 9........Hougaard was good at 9 on Sat

Good?????????   Only in your book - but then the Bulls Tight 5 was so pathrtic - Hougaard had serious problems at 9.

Very appropriate.  Matfield sow rubbish and the Bulls reaped a loss.
As I said elsewhere - after watching the game again - I realize how pathetic Matfield really was - he was worse than I thought after seeing the match initially.

 You are pathetic - when you wrong you start making disparaging remarks.

 Clevermike an oxymoron?  You should spend some of your free time studying the game, but be sure to save some of that time to study English as well.  You should also brush up on your manners, but by the looks of your boorish behaviour you may have trouble camouflaging your upbringing / heritage.

You have been around ebfore - I believe - so welcome back.  I am just reacting to the normal rubbish some members write on this site.   They slant the situation as to performance in favour of their favourite players.
Please remain civilized in your comments - I have probably written something about a player you do not approve of - but that is my opinion and I am entitled to it.
My background has nothing to do with it - and please stay away from that type of comment as well.   I only react to "bo orish" remarks made by others.

Wow! Pot, kettle, black. Hey, at least Mozart doesn't run to the mod like a sissy girl whilst posting threads singling out individual members, calling for a mob to sort them out. You really should th ink before you gab-off.
