I had a look at the CC teams and the following interesting selections are in evidence:-

Kings

Gary van Aswegen moved to the Kings from WP.   He was a better flyhalf in WP than most of their front line flyhalfs they have had over the past three years - but unfortunately injury-prone.

Western Province

It would be interesting to see how Etzebeth and Malherbe perform after their injury absences.   They are only in the team because of the need for some game time  after lengthy absences and we do need them for next week.   Rhodes is back in his normal position at 7 - watch out for him as well.   I still cannot understand why De Jongh is preferred to Howard at 13 - and then making De Jongh captain of the team - what a joke!!!    They should have started with Du Preez at flyhalf - he really is one for the future.

Griquas

Would eb interesting to see how the team performs under a new coaching set-up.   Doppies la Grange is back with them and it would really be interesting to see how he gees in future - not playing this week.

Sharks

With the back line saboteur gone, the Sharks has at last got a functional backline.   They also have a new youngster (Wright)  at scrummie - so we will see how he performs.   Will also benefit from the absence of the low work rate Alberts.

Lions

The Lions have an excellent back row and they also have Sarel van der Merwe to play the fool with Werner Kruger in scrums.

Bulls

What is Burger Odendaal's claim to fame?   Will be interesting  to see how he performs.  Slapgat is gone - so the Bulls scrumming may be better than expected.   Where are the voard idiots who attacked JJ last week _ he is still very much in the team.

Pumas

Interesting team - watch out for Spekman

Cheetahs

Mozart  in his idiotic statements claimed that Watts is better than Goosen at flyhalf - but he is not starting and still on the bench.   The starting flyhalf is Willie du Plessis - and he - as well as JP du Plessis are players to watch for.
