the Proteas are giving #1 strike bowler a well deserved rest for the 2nd ODI. His replacement  is either Dane Paterson or Beuran Hendricks, both of whom are average bowlers but are going to have to step up to the plate and prove their worth . Fortunately for them Bangladesh is an average side so they've been cut some slack in a funny sort of way.

 What about playing Wiaan Mulder/

We have some serious bowling worries. Steyn, Morkel, Vern, Rabada (rested), Parnell, Morris, Ngidi (on the comeback trail) all out of action.
Its a blessing to have such depth, but a  curse to have so many injuries.

Paterson will be fine. He has shown some class in the local scene with his death bowling. Be patient with him.

 Why so many injuries are these guys being managed properly or pla yed till they drop.
