Some interesting comments.

Pollard ready to play 80 minutes in a couple of weeks time. Seems somehow he will be in the squad.

Allende and Esterhuizen both complimented by coach. Glad to see this as Allende played well last time we saw him.  We actually have center well covered -- Esterhuizen, Allende, Moodie, Jessie Kriel, Willemse and of course Am recovering and Pollard could play 13.

Very happy with scrumhalves available and Libok, Pollard and Willemse are fine for the flyhalves position. Lots of wings. Bit thin at fullback but I guess a fit Pollard back i the squad could help out there.

There could well be a "plan" to get Pollard, Am and Lood into the squad? Orie sent home for Lood. Scrumhalf dropped for Pollard. As things stand how much do we need AM? Kriel would probably be sent home but he is playing well.

What a joke this Ben Smith reporter is on rugbypass.

Yes, the ABs did look like they like they had jet-lag in what was funnily the Qatar Cup,but no, we not gonna smash through the Pool B easily. One game at  a time poopal.

It's not going to be easy getting out of the pool stages or thereafter. Squad depth will be important. Standards just keep rising
