......but our self appointed Board expert is dismissive of Ireland's ability to score tries......and at the same time totally confident in former Italian and Bok defensive coach Venter. It’s a strange, strange world he lives in.

It was only Italy. Although my pick for the RWC final next year is NZ Ireland.

So Italy is the norm?   You are farcical and coming from the guy who does not consider scoring of tries as important you really make a farce in raising arguments about the issue on site.

Tokkie when you ever get one thing right on this Board be sure to tell us.....your bleating that the Irish can’t score tries just being your latest embarrassment. What a tonic you are, a daily serving of schadenfreude.

Ireland area polished side. Our coaches are only now beginning to realsie that runnng staright over opponents doesnt work. It requires deception, a grubber , running lines, a good pass beating a defender, over laps , backing up etc etc. Ireland can do these things. Our guys are okay at schoolboy level then they get coached out of it.

Proof - watch the creativity of the sevens side. watch how the under resourced Cheetahs have played and how the nobody Lions learnt to play a great game . Our major unions are starting the journey to playing decent balanced rugby one hopes.

The spelling of Afrikaans names is hardly a relevant life skill on the banks of Lake Michigan.....the name is written several ways. Frankly I could care less which version this particular Claasens adopts.
