The luck of the Irish? Or maybe to many early celebratory Guiness?
No the Irish team is weak. The best Irish team of all time in the early 2000's is now mostly retired. This is the team that made it to number3 in the world and could on their day beat any team. During the Irish economic boom the rugby team improved to the best it has ever been.
Now their talisman o'driscoll is on his last leg , and many others like Oconnell are not far behind.
Unless the Irish have some great young players coming through, their rugby team may slip out of the top10.
Can they beat the All Blacks with their current team? No.

Ireland has had some good games. They did well in their pool of the RWC 2011 : top of pool C with four wins. But they will not beat the ABs.

That's wishful thinking from the Irish Lads. The only team that's capable of beating the ABs is the Boks team; oh, and England too.

I think a lot of teams will fancy their chances against the wee abs. I mean the Boks dominated territory and possession and created more try scoring opportunities. In the end it was fair to say we shot ouraelves in the foot and threw away a comfortable win of say 20 points. In this almost unique instance the ref was not a problem . The wee though didnt win the test we lost it. Most annoying!

If wishes were fishes we would all have fush and chups for tea as my old mum used to say , beener you delusions are quite the worry ,you do know the boks havent won anything even a test against the ABS let alone any silverware in oh seems like years !

Beeno: I see we (not wee Beeno) kiwi's have to keep schooling you, lol
It is the scoreboard that is the indicator that counts. You can count all other numbers any way you want but in the end All Blacks (feel free to refer to us as the Mighty All Blacks) are the champions and the Boks have not won a game against us since - my records don't go back that far so I really don't know when the Boks won last.

Hahaha just-win Bro ,I think the last bok win against the ABS is painted on a cave in Lascaux next to the other neanderthals !

Redsman if the wobblies play as well as they did in the second half against us and dont shoot themselvers in the foot as we did you can certainly beat the wee abs.
We should really have won by 20 points! The abs are there for the taking.

We respect ALL Teams. We never write off any Team. We give ALL National Teams the attention they deserve.
I can give the names of 2 National Teams that are the exact opposite of the above humble qualities - their names start with W(allabies) and S(pringboks) .

Yes I never write the wobblies or boks off till I'm celebrating post match !

i wonder what its like having the national team u support lose to the like of ireland.
can the Bok and wallaby fans help out the kiwis in this regard, i mean u guys are very educated in losing to the brave irish.
interesting fact, both the Boks and wallabies have only won rwo of their last 5 tests against ireland, u are kind of like twins,
wallabies, Boks french and england are the only ones i worry about and even then only sometimes, i mean in 2013 there wasnt a single moment where i had any doubt that the All Blacks would be on a 100% winning streak right now.
whats more impressive is the level of opponents weve had.
french x 3
wallabies x 2
Boks x 2
pumas x 2
gatland must be thanking bhis lucky stars his british lions didnt come down to NZ, cos king McCaw would have a lion skin rug in front of his fireplace.

Beeno you cannot be serious lol it doesen't matter if you win by one point or a hundred, winning's winning. And especially seeing your trying to bring out this stat and this star to justify why you lost, at the end of the day the abs were more proficient with their oppurtunities and the boks weren't, so I concede the boks could of got close, but to say 20 point win lol that's over exagerrating thing's, maybe 5 but not 20, does not matter end of the day the scoreboard says abs win.

Leicster tigers and Saracens played a quota team with a quota coach Pdivvy.
It is in no way a dirt tracker team of 2nd best players, with a quotaEarl Rose was at flyhalf for these clowns.

Sas, it's always a bitter pill to watch the Boks go down, especially against you lot.. Test or no test, it's recorded as a loss against another international side. Not many other top tier teams that can brag about a lost against Zim on their CV. Not a test ha, good one!

@dbdraad,
really???
so a loss to any one of scotland, ireland, saracens and leicester is compartive to losing to the All Blacks???
thats interesting, cos IMO if the All Blacks were to lose to the Boks, it would suck but it wouldnt be anywhere near as bad as the day the All Blacks lose to ireland or scotland, not even in the same ball park.
an All Blacks team that loses to ireland and scotland would both technically make them the worst All Blacks ever IMO and i dont care if they win everything else,

Ja, ja, I know, I got a bit lost in translation. We hate loosing period. Lesser rugby nations obviously hurt you more when you lose to them. Even if it's not a test. We lost against Wales a few years back. Hurt like hell. Quite funny, I think NZ managed that a couple of times. I would give my.....never mind, but it would be awesome if the Boks could have sported only 80% of the record the AB's stacked up in the last 20 odd years.
