Just saw the highlights of the Pumas completely destroyed the bools.

The one try was an example of total rugby, great running, linking and fantastic timed wide passes.

You wouldn't think that the Bools B team would get such a drubbing from a semi pro team.

Has Jake's time come to and end and simply no longer have the passion to motivate and be innovative?

White is a miracle coach - he is good when he came in and then went sour in all teams he coached.   Don't know why - but I have a feeling the players become less interested in rugby because White treat them like schoolboys and he really is not interested in backline coaching.

I think the Bulls will do better by competing with the Sharks to get  Plumtree as a coach.   White must be careful  Rupert and Montsepe has a 74,5%  share in the Bulls Franchise and they have Schalk Britz to look after their investments in Rugby.   If the Bulls go the way they did recently - the two main owners would get him fired - that is using the Stade Francais  method when it came to coaching incompetence.

I think these guys eventually get too old  to have a natural connection with the players. Gatland and Eddie are at the same point. Jake was the best 15 years ago and still a good turn around artist.

You may be right as a turnaround coach - but that seems to be a temporary turnaround that goers sour in his coaching and the succeeding seasons showed a situation of going backwards in performances.    It happened in the case of the Springboks and all the teams he coached subsequent to 2008.

My simple question is why?     Your theory sounds correct - but may be just part of the problems White has had in coaching all along.    I think it is a deeper problem as well.    Players who were coached by him rarely had a good word as to White personally.  Why.

Irrespective of who is in charge it was an absolute disgraceful performance from the Bools.

No wonder the spectators numbers are so low.

Ah, that explains it. Another forced quota hire.

Looks like Jake is staying away from the cc team

Quite hard to motivate people when they have nothing to earn from a good performance.

You wouldn't think that the Bools B team would get such a drubbing from a semi pro team.
The game was made available for free so it was possible to fast forward through it at little cost.
Players looked hampered by the heat maybe as a consequence of being involved in NH competitions.
Beyond that, watching the two games involving EN squads, it appears that a change of mentality happened: less brutality, less vice, less provocative. It hurts a lot.
Same impression when watching this game: the guys tried to play rugby, it showed. They kept making handling mistakes, run poor lines, failed to provide dynamic defending patterns etc
Another quota coach who did not understand that a coach can not be possibly more than his squad. Players were put out of their comfort zone, try to play a rugby game they have no skillsets for.

No wonder the spectators numbers are so low.

Do team player family members even travel to the game?

It must a sensation to have a that large stadium for oneself.
