They put up a very strong show against the Reds, but then it has to be borne in mind that the Redsplayed for most of the match with 14 men after Higginbotham got red-carded.   There even was a time when the Reds only have 13 men on the field.

However, in general I think they played very well in that game.

Teams have two games tomorrow - the Brumbies against the Sunwolves  and the Waratahs against the Stormers,  If the Brumbies does not beat the Sunwolves with ease - they would definitely face problems in future,  DEspite the rubbish performance last week - I think the Stomers has a mini-0chance of beating the Waratahs,   The problem with the Stormers are the midgets on the wing and their loosie combination,

But it seems that canning the Western Farce is already reaping benefits for the Aussies ,though I reckon they should have got rid of the Rebels.

They should have got rid of the Brumbies - they were really not showing much against the Sunwolves today and with the exception of perhaps Godwin they were really not tops.  I think from what I have seen from that game there was no real candidate for man of the match on the Brumbies side today.

I was seriously impressed by Gatland and can see him making progress as a flyhalf,   Will watch him carefully in future and think about him as a potential fan tasy selection.
