.....than a rugby scrum? Sadly after the great rugby festival that was Japan, rugby looks destined to be one of the last activities that returns. It could take a vaccine!
Is there any more effective way to spread the virus......
What about rucks. There are up to and over 150 rucks per game. Lots of cont act.
Hi Moz.
"Is there any more effective way to spread the virus ...."
What virus?
The Coronal- or the common Flu virus?
They are pretty similar in behaviour, shape and form. They operate in a very similar way and no vaccine is available for them. The winter cold combined with the flu kills every year large number of people worldwide
Rugby has survived the common cold and yes, while the patient has the Flu, he is isolated from other activities until his body has recovered from the virus.
I suppose the bottom line is that nobody should be allowed to go onto a field if there is any sign of an abnormal temperature on that person.
I remember back in 1972 we had the Hong Kong virus. Despite large number of people contracting the virus and killing about 1 million people worldwide, no industry was closed.

Bizarre, I'm still convinced that there's more to this than meets the eye. I cant believe the whole world is so complacent. We are willingly self destructing. I hope I'm wrong, but there is something seriously wrong with this whole scenario. Something just don't add up. This virus might kill thousands...or even millions, but a totally collapsed world economy will kill millions more. I don't see back up plans to prevent such a disaster. What am I missing Blik?
Blikkies I tend to agree. We are taking these extreme measures because of fears the hospitals will be overwhelmed. But we need to build immunity if no vaccine is forthcoming.
