The URC Elite XV for the season is as follows: Quan Horn (15), Werner Kok (14), Stafford McDowall (13), Stuart McCloskey (12), Kyle Rowe (11), Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu (10), Embrose Papier (9), Evan Roos (8), Ruan Venter (7), Cian Prendergast (6), Cobus Wiese (5), Darragh Murray (4), Thomas Clarkson (3), Johann Grobbelaar (2), and Ntuthuko Mchunu (1).

It is nice to see Ruan Venter getting the nod though, in spite banning and injury.

Roos confuses me.

In my own head, I'm like "Yeah, Roos!" and then at the same time like "Nah, screw that guy."

Roos ahead of Hanekom makes zero sense. I'm sure they picked him simply because of the amount of tries he scored.

I don't think know of another player that i support and don't support as much as him.

Seems others also noticed what we noticed about Quan.

Venter is an absolute no-brainer as far as I'm concerned. By some distance the best loosie in SA this season.

I’d say that’s close to the cadre of best South African players. Mchunu, Grobelaar, Horn, Venter are very deserving emerging players. Papier had a few sensational games. Wiese I like but I think he’s a bit lucky. Roos probably got there because of the tries, I agree and Sacha is just the best watch in rugby.
