that Deans will be shown the door if he loses the Lions series. There is every reason to believe that the Wallabies should triumpth the series, all of the Aussie franchises have done well in S15 with the Reds, Tahs and Brumbies putting in some great performances and they have some fine young talent coming through as well. It seems like the abscence of Quade Cooper is going to be a decisive nail in his coffin but here I stand alongside of Deans for not selecting the yellowbelly.....how can one forget the last WC with Cooper hiding behind the tryline to avoid making a tackle. McKenzie is busy putting the boot into Deans as he desparately tries to capture the attention of the ARU ahead of them selecting Jake.  Personally I think it was a mistake to select Deans as the Wallaby coach, not that I think Deans is a poor coach, as a matter of fact I think he'd go well coaching a Kiwi or South African side at any level but as an Aussie coach.....nope!

I agree with everything you say Denny.  McKenzie's comments on Deans' selections were unusual in the coaching club. Oz should beat the moribund Northerners, but if they don't,  Deans is toast. And I do think he would have done much better with the Bok  style....trying to get the Aussies to play a physical game was a lost cause.

Why not get Deans to coach the Stormers - he will do a hell of a lot better than the dud they have at presnt - or beter still replace Meyer when he flops again this year

No Oom Maaik, based on your brilliant record in make believe rugby and your pure nous in selecting Jordaan, Coetzee, Taute et al.....you are clearly the man for the job.

Hey Mike, I quite like your idea of bringing Deans in to coach the Stormers. He may be a run of the mill national coach, but his record at Super Rugby level is brilliant!! Never going to happen, but would be nice. Moz, stop picking on Mike!! Right, I have done my good deed for the day! :)

Mozart

At least I look for rugby players - not for useless De Jongh and cohorts.  LOL
