It's not true....

that Brickbat Lawrence not from Arabia won't be reffing in South Africa. Lyndon Bray who was a very ordinary ref himself and who is in charge of the clown with the whistle in the wrong hole has said that Lawrence just needs to get his confidence back and I quote..

"Bray said Lawrence had been very “honest” in his assessment of his own performance on the day, and he respected him for that. What was important now for Sanzar is that Lawrence gets over the situation and becomes a top referee again."

My question is...when was Brickbat Lawrence a "top referee"?...the little jerk was a total disaster in S14 and in 3N and carried that performance into the WC. So how  can anyone suggest he was a top referee?

It reminds m ewhen Honiss cheated the Boks out gainst Ireland. Toldmit t ogo and hav ea chat to his team. While he did tha tireland picked up theball and scored. later of course he apologised for his "mistake"

How would we like it if some people described places in South Africa like that? Personally, I can take fun and laughter at each other and joking about other countries, but I cannot agree that talking about another's homeland as "........that sheep crapping Island station called NZ will tell you it's like living proof out of the movie Deliverance.". Also describing the people as:"knuckledragging cretins".  I am sorry, but I think that was in bad taste and uncalled for.

Recall the email exposing corruption in rugby. Australian and New Zealand refs plotting how they were going to, and I quote, "Get those Jarpies". Nothing was ever done to correct that or follow it up. Ever since we have been stuffed year in and year out. In the incident against Ireland in 2004 Honiss never even blew his whistle! He turned to O'Doormat and said, "Carry on". In 2010 we fell at the hands of extraordinary cheating. Rugby is a very corrupt and biased thing. I say thing because it isn't a sport.

1.A sport is governed by a set of laws, i.e., rules, that dictate how a game is to be played. Rugby is governed by guidelines that are applied differently depending on whose playing, where and when they play, the occasion, on how the ref decides the game will be played (never the players!)

2.These 'guidelines' are never applied equally. A sport is a game whereby all participants compete under the same rules/laws.

Very sad state the so-called sport is in.

Maybe we will have better luck with the Argie refs in the 4 nations? Our refs must stop favouring NZ as that penalty count to yellow card ratio indicated.

I congratulated Australia on their TNs win on NZs official site (there were several Aussies there). I was banned. EVERY post I made that was not idol worshipping NZ was deleted. On numerous occasions they deleted the entire thread! LMAO! So I couldn't care less what they think.

got to agree , i have family living in Auckland and they cannot stop talking about how easy going the people are. These broad strokes about entire nations is just ridiculous. Its Like that...every white man in SA is a racist.

I met some folk living in Auckland over the Christmass holidays. They had been there for a number of years and said in all that time they had never been invited into  a NZ house and were still considered as outsiders. I was a bit surprised by that. They seemed nice friendly folks with three teenage daughters so that was strange.

Like all nations they will have mix of types etc.

However they can dish it our on a rugby forum for sure. Not for the faint hearted.
