that the Indian's coaching trust have done a ton of homework on our bowling attack as their top order have just gone on with where they left off in the first test. Their job is even easier now that they've been given a dead duck wicket to bat on and one can almost comfortably predict a boring draw. Thanks for coming and handing over your hard earned Rands you good and loyal fans but the Curator has not only killed off any interest in this test but in test cricket in general.
But going back to our attack, the Indian top order is handling the good balls with ease and it must be terribly frustrating not knowing whence the next wicket is going to fall. I think our bowlers should rethink their attack and find a way where their batsmen are forced to play. One way of making them play is to bowl from wider out in the crease and pitching the ball just inside of middle stump with a legcutter breaking towards the offstump. Late yesterday, Steyn went around the wicket and subsequently bowled 3 maidens which just goes to show that we really do need a new gameplan in attack.
