Some offensive language appears to be gone. I think th at's nice, who wants to post on a filthy site. It's not clear whether all the posters have survived the CUT.

Yes the community would probably grow faster with less swearing. It is a free service funded by advertising. It may put new posters off particularly if other people are swearing at each other for disagreeing with their own opinion.
Their is still lots of opportunity to insult each other without [removed]
I wonder if the system automatically does this. Perhaps the system can specify certain swear words, and then they are automatically picked up and replaced with removed.
It may then take someone with an extensive vocabulary of swearing to use a word that is not yet on the list?

Well Gonzo somehow [removed] doesn't have a lot of clout as an adjective. Still I'm not concerned for you, your posts are enjoyable because of the original content. I'm sure you will find cool alternative adjectives.

I think everyone is thankfully still here. Banning folk is not to be welcomed apart from extreme abuse. Kamp ss sank like a stone because of bannings.A rugby website will always be robust but like you I would prefer less swearing but realistically guys will not cut it out completely. Also there are hilarious expressions like Wallietongan Bogans which I would not want removed .
Cutting down on the F word would be helpful. I posted some points on snapsters thread.

Uncle, I agree.  I cannot post much 'cause I work in the bundus with machines and all.  Some of the guys on here have more swearing than fact in their posts and like the ladys are never regarded in all of this.  You say "cut" you mean to say some folks were expelled from this place.  I was scared they may kick me because I don''t come here often.
Shame, my Daddy is going to suffer big time if he cannot swear like a sailor.

There is no better way of making a point it carries so much more clout.......I swear and have no issue with it at all.......its only a bloody word.......and to all those who maintain that its used by those who cant vocalise a counter......balls, for if that was the case, there would be very few lawyers in this world

Snapster notice how Claydog uses the f word. Some subtley oak is neeeded. Not difficult for a suave London lawyer I would assume? This puts the down under types at a unfair advantage! All their wierd foul sayings will escape censorship!

Sure. But when one word becomes the default adjective, adverb and noun it loses a little oomph. You can live without it.....it's not a rugby term.

Whether you admit it or not swear words are good adjectives to get across just how stupid and pathetic some people are. If you use the more decent and accepted words some people just wouldn't get the message.

 Well done Ed!
Ya saffex was getting out of hand. He can't write a post in retaliation without swearing at the person he is responding to.

I assume that saffex's next step is out the door?

Hands off snapster a great poster. Chippo the last thing we need is Dave not being here.
Some guys seem to believe having the people they dont like going helps. It destroys a board as there is always somebody additional to get removed. On Kamp ss they managed to destroy a very large website by this practice. One guys goes and takes his pal with him etc. The board unravels.
Forget it we dont want anybody banned here. Nodoby here actually would be deserving of a banning in any case. But yes clean up a bit for sure.

Going soft in normal areas and getting more ugly and profane in others...grandad was right...we need another war...he said men were painting their nails in France before WW1...they are doing worst things today...young men don't know if they are Arthur or Martha and neither do young women.

My wife said in Moscow a Russian guy threw a banana on the field during a soccer match against a Brazilian side when they goaled...the striker burst into tears...omg...the guy was arrested for racialism....this is very funny...no racialism was meant...bananas were cheap in Moscow because they come from Cuba...tomatoes, kiwi fruit and eggs are expensive.

Ping Edd, when you enter the words to be filtered, put a space before and at the end of the word. this will prevent other words with an unfortunate letter sequence being butchered. :-).

Don't misunderstand me, I'm against unkind and hurtful words and behaviour but we have totally lost the plot and do not have any sense of right or wrong and over react when it's not meant and do nothing when it's serious and degrading.

We have always been fools but today nothing makes any sense anymore
