Cobus Reinach. A bumbling inept display, replete with poor decisions, awkward passes and wayward kicks kept knocking the Sharks backwards. They were so much more fluid when McLeod arrived.
For the rest Bismarck, Coetzee, Alberts, both props were all terrific. The Sharks centres struggled, and the whole defensive alignment was way out of place...not helped by poor Sharks kicking...mostly by Reinach. Fran's was a lucky packet, and Chavanga apart the wings were outplayed.
Those wanting Reinach and Mvovo in the Bok team, should think again.
For the Highlanders all their backs were impressive. But let's hope NZkeep playing Conrad Smith ahead of Fekitoa. This man is now, by far, the most dangerous 13 extant.
To be honest one could not have quibbled if the Highlanders won....they were electric, ball in hand.
But mark today's date. In young du Toit we have at last found a potential world class power prop. Those howling for Coenie or Kitshoff should ponder the difference. Who said I can't be excited by a young player!
