I know it's not a good idea to bet against Canterbury in the big games but I reckon home ground advantage will count and Wellington will take it.
ITM Cup Final . . .
Wellington has'nt lost a game all season. But they havent won a final for 12 years.
1 Wellington $1.75
2 Canterbury $2.00
1 Western Province $1.52
2 Natal Sharks $2.40
...they lost to Hawkes Bay???? How come they're favourites at the TAB then?
...mind you how come Bean Brains WP are favourites....we'll never hear the end of it if they win...Go the Sharkies
its typical wellington main feeder province to the hurricanes to drop the ball big time on this game, like crusy#1 said, the lions just didnt show up.
none of the lions top players stood up, savea, wilson, leiua, matuu, shields,,,cont
(woohooo van persie just scored, )
,,,contthey were all comprehensively outplayed, victor vito can hold his head up high though, he had a good game and really gave it his all, cant help but think he should still be part of the All Blacks squad,
jeff wilson said the best comment which sums up canterbury and the crusaders for that matter,,,cont
(WTF stoke city just scored from a free kick, )
,,,cont, when ever they need a big play to happen, they put their heads down and get it done.
looks like the south island have made a clean sweep of the ITm finals, so congrats to the SI represnets (@brycy, )
hope moodys all right, dude wont want to be injured when the All Blacks are leaving for NH domination tour in a few days.
Impresive win of Canterbury for his 6th title in a row. That's an inmense achievement, something very difficult to be repeated.
Having 8 All Blacks (the bigest number of the NZ teams) who couldn't play, Canterbury is the current most prolific pool (or reserve? ) of young players of NZ and the world.
They totally dominated the match, specially in the second half. And that was a very difficult task having a team like Wellington in front.
Even though it has been an all-team effort Osborne, Bleyendaal and George Whitelock have shone in their own right.
Also hope Moody is all right, it would be really bad luck for him if he misses the EOYT. He will probably be the next AB loosehead prop after Woodcock and the sooner he'll be in th e AB environment the better
yup congrats to Canterbury...good to see they finally won something after the Mighty Chiefs kicked their butts two years in a row...
South Island boys are strong in grass roots rugby i must admit....wish the Highlanders would get off the bottom of the SuperXV table though as they're making NZ look bad...lol
My apologies also to Hawkes Bay for denying them a win against Wellington poly.
And thanks for the Ranfurly Shield Hawkes Bay .
Looks good up here in our trophy cabinet..
