Still the Lions put a plethora of tries past them and controlled the game nicely for 80 minutes.
Another one in the bag. And two records broken. One for the highest Lions score against OZ opposition in SR and the other for the win streak.
Skosan is growing into a true finisher. Makes good decisions almost without fail. Do we have better finishers at our disposal elsewhere in SA? Lovely stepping again this week. Jantjies improving by the minute too it seems. Looks like they'll go into the international break with some nice momentum. Where to when Combrink and Kriel return.
Really feel for Redlinghuys. Seeing his mates rip it up but not being able to join them must be gawd awful.
One loss all year...away with a B team. Not bad.
AJ high-five your obviously highly intelligent brother-in-law for me when you get a chance :)

Haaaaaaahahahahahaaa.

The way your're carrying on one would swear your a Lions fan.

Can't find much fault with what your saying there, Plum.

I've been a fan of Skosan for a while now. He's a class player and I would have no issue seeing him in the green and gold.

We have a great team. Some talented folk rejected by others.

I love it!!

Go Lionssss!!!

Well ... we've taken 9 of the 10 opponents to the cleaners, including your team of midgets ... and the 1 we lost was a matter of bad judgement on our part.

Last year we cleaned up the Kiwi opposition (unlike the Stormers this year) and went all the way to the final.

You on the other hand have had record scores chalked up against you ... one after the other. Something like 150 points in 3 matches. LOL!!!

I too would be tearful and look for faults in other teams.

You can only beat what's in front of you Moz, and the Lions are doing that every week in style.

Skosan looks our best in-form winger at the moment and would love to see him get some bok chances. You're right about Janjties too, he was always going to look lost in an aimless Coetzee system, but if we come up with a coherent game plan, he could be excellent.

Is Faf de Klerk injured plum? Is it just a drop off form for him or was last year a flash in the p an year?

Just wish to make sure that u guys know that the Lions played the Rebels.
No great surprise really.
Gloating in a victory against a team like the Rebels shows just how desperate we are to celebrate any wins.
Really is much like a team from Tukkies playing a team from Pofadder.

Thanks for that, Matey.

None of us were aware of it.

AJ, nobody is gloating. But do allow us to take some positives out of the weekend.
As APD says, you can only beat what's in front of you.

Lions cleaned up the kiwi opposition. Bar one team the Canes. Who smashed the Lions by 50 in their backyard. Then beat them in the final. I am actually picking a Canes Lions final again this year. This time it well be in Durban.

I dunno ... Crusaders look awesome.

Lions, Saders, Chiefs and Canes are all possible finalists.

Look forward to seeing how it pans out.
