No, Wacko ensured the Home Team was well infront before making a show for the cameras in the last few minutes of being fair. It was embarrassing. Shameful Wacko.

Lions played at a pace the Highlanders couldn't keep up with. Especially in the 2nd half they were toasted. The Highlanders were making poor decisions mostly through tiredness . Doubt any team who travelled that much before a semi would have made it. The Lions play a good game of rugby, the Landers did their best but it was far off the mark.

Phew lucky Lions. Got a friendly ref and travel weary opposition. Any other excuses you'd like to throw in the pot while it's hot?

Actually I thought Jaco was his usual  inept self. One case where Aaron Smith lost control of the ball clearly backwards right in front of Jaco .....he allowed play to continue, but ruled a knock based on the linesman's advice who was much further from the action. There  were   small errors, but no big mistakes ....nothing to offset the dominance of the Lions up until the last 10 minutes where key Lions' players were subbed.

The poofter always cries when his team's beaten ... in this case thrashed.
I expected nothing less from the poor dear. He's a limp-wristed poepol pilot.
Well played boys. You took them apart in every aspect of the game.
They were out coached, out thought and completely outplayed.
Thoroughly thrashed.

No doubt, CleanCut! The Highlanders were a shambles, pity to see a team get smashed out of the contest... But, thats rugby it happens. The Lions wont have to many issues travelling to NZ.
The Lions actually remind me a bit of the Highlanders of 2015 no-one expected them to win the SR title especially with only a small hand full of All Blacks but from almost out of nowhere they went all the way. The Lions could do the same thing. The Hurricanes have never won a title nor have the Lions so thats a good thing. I have no issue being beaten by the better team and it was pretty obvious who the better team was.

What a breath of fresh air you are, Papamoa.
You always have been.
To be fair to the Highlanders, the odds were stacked against them and for them to have made an impression against the home side would have taken a herculean effort.
Travel is a killer and let's face it they did a lot of it in the end. You could see they were out on their feet in the last 10.
I enjoyed the fact that they never used it as an excuse ... even though it played it's part in the end. They're a tough lot. If the travelling roles were reversed how well would we have featured?
Either way ... we were fortunate to have a home quarter and semi and that stood us in good stead. I guess well deserved for a wonderful season.
Now it's our turn to travel.
I hope both teams bring their A game. Look forward to an awesome conclusion to this season.
Good luck to your side, Papamoa!!
Goooooo Lionsssssssssss!!!

Hey brother Hakwa, I just remembered something. Weren't you the same clown who was trying to convince me that Bismarck du Plessis tackled Dan Carter from an offside position in that infamous Roman Tw@t game?
