He was good today in the limited time he was on the pitch vs Argentina to gain his first cap off the bench.
Very physical for a scrumhalf but has very good skill as well.
Will be interesting to see more of his game, but at this stage he could soon be challenging for a starting spot.

Seems to have more potential than Jantjies, who is a tidy player…and that small Bools scrummie Papier, who has always struck me as very hyped.

Nienaber said after the match it might be a broken bone and not ligaments- unfortunate as he was certainly playing himself into contention for a starting position.

He gave away a penalty and knocked on a terrible pass at his shoelaces.
Otherwise, he looked very abrasive for scrumhalf with a tackling technique like Henry Honiball. He was everywhere, tackling forwards, competing at rucks, at center and 2nd receiver from loose play.

I’ve seen him a few times now and he is the real deal. Good skill and good rugby brain. His younger brother was the Baby Bok 10 and playing 10 for the Lions now. We have 9’s to burn Some seem to have a short memory on how good Jantjies is Papier, Ivan v Zyl, Nohamba and vd Bergh are all good as is new acquisition to the Bulls in Izak Burger

Any update on his injury? Would be good to see him back for the Sharks to see how he goes.
An abrasive tackler, he just needs to avoid injuries.
