Nienaber said after the match it might be a broken bone and not ligaments- unfortunate as he was certainly playing himself into contention for a starting position.
He gave away a penalty and knocked on a terrible pass at his shoelaces.
Otherwise, he looked very abrasive for scrumhalf with a tackling technique like Henry Honiball. He was everywhere, tackling forwards, competing at rucks, at center and 2nd receiver from loose play.

I’ve seen him a few times now and he is the real deal. Good skill and good rugby brain. His younger brother was the Baby Bok 10 and playing 10 for the Lions now.
