Chiefs score after time up. Jags won 23-19.

Well done to Jags. Hapless chiefs soundly whipped.

My forecast at Superbru was that the Jaguares would win by 6 points.

However, the poor Chiefs are doomed - they have to go to Cape Town and Durban for their next two matches.   If they pick up even a bonus point in those two games it will be amazing,

Yes Jags thoroughly deserved their win tonight. Chiefs badly off their game and Jags defence very sound. Surprisingly Chiefs scrum pushed Jags around all game! Only positive...

...not the ideal result but at least the Chiefs got a bonus point...shades of the Highlanders win over the Bulls last week where good defense wins games...

Goes to show what can happen when the ref doesn't dictate terms.

Mike, that’s a brave call about the Chiefs prospects in SA, especially after what they’ve done to the Stormers in Capetown of recent times! We might need to revisit your comment next weekend...

Moolaa - not worried.

The Chiefs this year was lucky beating the Bulls with active assistance of the ref and was not very hot in the other matches they won.   I do not think they have a snowballs hope  in hell of beating any SA side away from home.
