And even Jake (a fellow SA coach) puts the boot in. Contrast this to what Hansen said. Jake only cares about Jake.

Jake was never a winner....Eddie was the brains behind our WC win....Jake was as useless as Meyer is now leading up to that WC. Eddie saved his bacon

Mozart, in this context the "nice guy or winner" question doesn't arise as Jake is not the coach he is on the sidelines taking a cheap shot at Meyer. Hansen could have taken a cheap shot but did not.

Yep I gave Hansen a lot of credit for that. Still Jake was so badly treated by SA rugby I'm not surprised he is bitter. Name another WC winner, a coach who took the team from the nadir to the top, who has been treated that badly.

Mozart, Jake doesn't seem to be a lovable character so he is in the perpetual cycle of being treated badly, responding with bitterness & being treated badly. Plus he has a habit of breaking contracts (isn't this what happened with the Brumbies?). He is not marketing himself very well these days - does he even have a job?

Guys think what you like about Jake White but you can never get away from the fact that he was the head coach and won the WC as the head coach.
He has done things that I do not think are ethical but at one stage or another, but who other than Mozart is perfect.
Let us also not forget that Hansen and Meyer are friends and often share a bottle together.........
Also remember that all results always deflect to the top....win or lose.
Meyer has to be held responsible for this debacle.

An SOS for Jake White to take over the Bok team? Jake white has allways been good at using the media to promote himself
I doubt he would have lost to Japan.

Just check Jakes record in the 2 years leading up to the WC.....its was beyond disgraceful. He was on the point of being fired and had Eddie to thank for saving his arse.
It's absolute bullshit that he took us from nowhere to the top.
The fact that he is a complete prick is the very reason he gets treated with the disdain he deserves.
Average coach with the personality of a dead fish

Jake is a world class coach. We only started to get a rich vein of talent from 2006 to, but he kept the Boks competitive. Jones did what exactly? What elements of our game did he overhaul? We won that World Cup playing Bok rugby with moves we had been using for years! About the biggest contribution made he made was encouraging Burger to distribute.
For over 40 minutes against Samoa where was this mighty golden touch from Jones? Nowhere! Until Frans came on, nothing was happening and the Boks were o n the ropes. It took a real 12 to make it all work. Frans was the missing piece, not Jones. Just as in 2011 when Frans lifted our campaign.

its a well recorded fact that jake was not the most popular figure in the change rooms. jones changed that and introductioned a few elements to the bok pack and more importantly the backline. speed and width which was badly lacking to bok rugby.
so i am not sure fox where you get your information from....
