Piss poor kicking out of hand by the Bulls - absolutely no point in kicking it skyward if you are not going to compete. Also the Bulls were piss poor at preventing the Leinster counter rucking - no protection of the ball. Piss poor by the Bulls - they were handed a lesson by a side having far more resolve Very disappointing showing by the Bulls Papier, Willie and Goosen had games to forget The only positive was the Bulls scrum dominance in the first half Arendse is a physical freak - so much power from a little guy The likes of Kriel and Moodie at centre might as well not been on the field That Bulls side on paper should have put up a far better show - they lead at the half

I really wonder what the hell was Jakes game plan?? Geez man there was absolutely no structure from the bulls and there defence sucked….Moodie is definitely not the answer in midfield as he can’t defend….and what happened to his high ball strength?? He should stay on wing as that is where he made his biggest impact for the Boks…Maybe he will get better at 13, but it looks like Jake is teaching him how not to defend…Papier has his moments as he has got some talent, but he is to inconsistent…there is better 9,s then him…I think Johan goosen is over his best …Akker is definitely not the most accurate line out thrower and his Form that he had oversees and by the Lions, is not there anymore….Wilco and Gerhard showed there steel….Arendse can also hold his head high….I also think Jake is over his best….with a good group of players like that, he should be doing much better…Embarrassing KAK Rugby by the Bulls!! Congrats Leinster and if this is any kind of Barometer, the Boks better prepare themselves well for the Ireland tour….Otherwise more Embarrassment on the way.

No that’s not how you do things you don’t push Moodie back to wing just because he had one off day defensively. To think one clown on here tells us Moodie is a better 13 than Am, the best 13 in the game. One poor kicking game by Papier does not define his season he has been excellent and is a class act

Jake  White is to my mind not a good enough coach  with an extremely negative  and  limited game plan he  uses -  basically the traditional 10 man game.   , I am glad  he is not the  Springbok coach  - with him as coach  the Springboks would not have won the 2 WC's in 2019 and 2023.

They're second on the log...one loss against the best team in the league on their home turf is hardly a disaster...the Bools were still very much in the game more than h alfway through...a few different bounces, who knows...Leinster is a classy outfit though.

Ah was so pissed off, really looked forward to this game but Leinster showed their composure and experience.

There forwards are rock solid. Especially there 8. Embarrassing to see how he ghosted through the backline.

Players like Willie, Goosen and Coetzee were really poor.

Bulls didnt show up on the day.

Jake is past it by now, bulls need an innovative coach. I like the team Jake put together, but maybe should be more about developing talent rather than coaching

Bulls put in a good performance in the first half but looked out on their feet in the second half. Leinster bench did some serious damage when they came on.

I watch some of these games…best I can tell home advantage is close to definitive in the games involving SA teams. Partially because of non selection strategy.

Players in the mould of Moodie, Fassi and Libbok are X factor players….but not good defenders …that is why you need players in the team like Mostert and Pieter to make those important tackles time and time again….so a player like Moodie is not the right player in the midfield….you need tough bastards in the midfield that have both….X factor and Rock solid defence.

The Ulster match was very frustrating...first half, Stormers couldn't get hold of the ball, second half they botc hed more than a dozen opportunities...a match we didn't deserve to win...good to see Malherbe back though.

Draad

I agree with you about the passing  or better still lack in the passing  game of the Stormers.  How many knock-ons and losing of possession in tackles ae allowed per game?    Too many forwards clung to the ball and think they are Tarzan - the greatest ones ever.  Was impressed b y Willemse though.    .   .

Guys as a Munster supporter it was depressing to watch Leinster this weekend when compared to our performance against Cardiff.  Very nervous about our upcoming tour

To put it into perspective, we had almost a full strength team out whereas Leinster had maybe 3 or 4 of the starting 15 will make the starting 15 in the big matches in the next couple of weeks.  5 of the starting 8 forwards will not start.  Not surprised you dominated in the first half.  Their depth is scary.   Their weakness was in the second row but the emergence of Joe McCarthy and singing RG next season.   Scary.

Of course RG was injured before the start of the game AGAIN for Munster......

"Bulls put in a good performance in the first half but looked out on their feet in the second half. Leinster bench did some serious damage when they came on." Unacceptable. Pretoria is close to 2km above sea level. No team from Pretoria or JHB should ever look more tired than their opposition. For comparison, Big Bear in the US, where fighters hold training camps at altitude, is only 200m higher than Pretoria. Not a good look for Jake.

Good to see Jake sticking with Moodie at 13 for this weekend despite an average defensive showing last week It was more poor defensive readings by Moodie than one on one missed tackles The kid is class and will learn. Invest in him at 13

Special talent for sure. Perfectly suited to 13. He runs great lines, has great rugby instincts - he puts himself in the right place at the right time

Moodie and Kriel were very good as a centre pair on Saturday Good to see Moodie is a quick learner - his defence was sharp David Kriel needs to be added to the Bok mix as does Ben Jason Dixon and Ruan Vermaak
