One of the three stooges of Wallaby rugby is set for a return in next week's test at Ellis Park. It'll be interesting to see how he fares after his stint abroad. I haven't seen him play test rugby for a while now. He is no doubt a talented player, but seldom functional. I think the Boks can exploit him.

JOC has unprecedented clauses written into his new contract with the Queensland Reds. On the face of it, he appears to have convinced everyone he is a changed man, but I think it's desperation to pave over the cracks in Wallaby rugby in a World Cup year. Hedging their bets that they can get a season's worth of quality rugby out of him. Of the three stooges, he was always the master manipulator. I hope he genuinely has turned a corner, for his sake more than for rugby. We'll see.
