If this youngster invites comparison with Danie Gerber he has to be an exciting prospect. But the next few years are going to mould him for his career. Hahahahahhaha well said Moz. But even the bulle will find it hard to ruin Jan. What also impressed me was that he took a couple of big hits and it was like water off a ducks back. Fransie at 19 was the toughest nut we are ever likely to see....but in his first few Super matches he was always being charged. The youngsters need to learn the pace of senior rugby, before they are dumped in tests. The idea of playing Serfontein now is unhinged.
Ideally he should play super comp first but ou snapster has the bit between his teeth and thinks our backline consists of old farts!!! We will have to trust Meyer knows how to bring the youngsters along.
Snapster would probably select the under 21 side to play for the Boks just so he can see some fresh faces!
