He was looking fat and slow today. He went overseas for a few months and has become the new Frans Steyn

I was exaggerating a bit- but a few of the breaks he made he appeared to lack outright gass that he had 2 years ago. He looked like a very fast prop.

Ed

You must be kidding - how can you take the award away from Mozart - the permanent holder of the award?   He will be truly unhappy about that,   LOL

SB

Lets be honest here -  Van  Rensburg never was a speed merchant,   He is slow and very strong with some  doubts about his ball handling skills,    Not as bad as Fat Fransie though.

Oak oaks rather than pillorying our good friend Sharkbokkie lets realize one important consideration here. Rohan can step and has the power and acceleration to make the initial break. On his outside you put a speed merchant. I will go with Kriel for now. Not a bad combo.

Of course you could pick Rohan and Esterhuizen who weighs I hear 112. Then give them instructions to tackle the daylights out of the kiwi ballerinas! Imagine wee beau bar rat  runni ng into these two!

Problem with Van Rensburg and Esterhuizen is they both have denfense liabilities as well and your suggestion will never work out.
