Jantjies benched again...is it the beginning of the end?

 Strange call given Jantjies had his best game of the year last weekend. Ackerman has no idea given how poor the Namibian selected at 15 is. Botha is useless. Would have made more sense retaining Boshoff at 15 and Jantjies at 10.

Crap player. Defence is dismal, attack is a lottery and usually never pays off. He is never going to be good. In fact, he is actually managing to get worse. Lets move on and not waste anymore time.

I feel his mind is stuck on WP and Stormers rugby. Its much "cooler" to be part of WP/Stormers than the Lions and Jantjies wants that image. Lions dont win shit and Jantjies so badly wants to be a winner but doesn't realise that he was a big part of the "loser Lions!" He played shit for Stormers and I would be helluva surprised if management let Coetzee sign him. Get Catrakilis back in there and let him go. Jantjies has had long enough to prove himself and he is a flop. Move on!

Zeilinga for the Sharks is a much better player too. I would like to see Bok rugby working with Goosen, Lambie, Catrakilis and Zeilinga. More than enough there and all better players right now than Jantjies will ever be!

 Ignorance is bliss

Saff, I know you like the kid but lets be real. He is a hit and miss player and hit and miss players dont win world cups or anything for that matter.

Jantjies does have some brilliance about him at times but its all to few and far inbetween. His little touches hardly ever come off anymore. I dont know when last I have seen him have a solid 80mins. He is no better than some flyhalves in SA that are stuck in the club system. I can promise you that.

A guy like Zeilinga was a superstar at school and has proven to carry on that form through age group. With the right coaching and training, he will be a really good player in the next 3 to 5 years. We dont need Jantjies as long as we have Goosen, Lambie and Catrikilis in the wings. I exclude Morne as he is obviously not the future at his age.

Can you honestly say you would like Jantjies to be on that field for the Boks in the Rugby Championship? He adds absolutely nothing.

What we need is a Honiball or a Butch James of 2007 not a Jantjies! AB's lick their lips at the sound of him.

Quade Cooper and Jantjies are alike. Both can be really good and both can be flops. Unlucky for both, they are both flopping in the last few years. I believe it is because defences are on to them now and they have no plan B. They take ridiculous options that would have worked when it was "the element of surprise" but now, it has become expected from them and the defences are wise to this. No plan B. Now they got nothing! There is a reason both of them are out of favour!

When last did we see Quade or Jantjies slight of hand fool anyone? These players know about them now. They have gone from being really talented footballers to nothing more than small players that cant tackle. Cant have that in international line ups or if you wana win a super 15.

 Jantjes has got head problems. One wonders what will happen. Hopefully he will stay at the lions but ou alistair being a very small oak loves small oaks like himself. 

Lions need to play Jantjes and see if he can settle down. In and out the side is not good.

Well, well, well ... who would have though Stupid would have come to Jantjies rescue.

With comments like ... "he had his best match" ... I just never saw that one coming.

I mean "HouGat's had his best season thus far" ... and "Jantjies is a world beater" ...

Perhaps the two of them should be called up for Bok service.
