The following report is quoted:-

"Golden Lions fly-half Elton Jantjies is set to miss the remainder of the Currie Cup season due to an ankle injury.

Jantjies suffered the setback in his side's 31-25 loss to the Sharks in ?Johannesburg last weekend, and according to the Beeld website, a scan has revealed a Grade 2 tear to the ankle's ligaments.

He could return in three or four weeks' time, but is not likely to play any further part in this year's Currie Cup.

Marnitz Boshoff is set to move from full-back to take over at  flyhalf.

In other injury news, centre Dylan des Fountain's season is also over after he badly injured his knee against the Sharks."

Sorry about the injury - but it shows what happens when a player never attacks the advantage line and when he does he gets injured.   Jantjies had a very average CC series thus far this year.

In essence Boshoff is a better flyhalf than him and the team will not be weakened as a result.

However, the Lions does have a problem with their centers - with Stokkies Hanekom out and now also Des Fou ntain they must be very thin on the ground with centers.

who? Is he still around? Maybe if he spent less time perming his hair and admiring his own big thighs (aka Luke McAlister) and posturing around the field, he can start playing rugby. That's the problem with your Bokkie lads - too much posturing around the field like proud peacocks - Eben is the worst - and they think they're going to win!
