Jean vs Serfontein

Jean was clearly more penetrative and never lost the ball, to Steps two turnovers in 3 metres gained. He also delivered in the Hendricks try. Step did make more tackles, but Jean forced the defence up.
Kinda different to the picture that is painted. Step continues to look toothless to me.

 Jean also missed two crucial tackles and gave away 2 penalties.  If you want to use stats for comparison purposres - make sure you compare all stats.   - not only those that fit your argument.
But wwhy go for the center pairing - everyone grees that Serfontein has no penetration, but can't you see that Jean is not the player he as last year?
Then the core problem is ignored and sise issues raised as per normal.   Why not duscuss the atrocious displays of Morne Steyn and Ruan Pienaar instead?   

 To compare Jean and Jan in that test with ball in hand is laughable given the test was about Morne and Pienaar kicking possession away.
Neither centres had space to operate in and both were good in contact getting over the advantage line.
Jan was huge in defence so at a push was better than Jean overall

So ....um....let me see. Jean was far more active and successful in attack than Step. But because of something Morne or Pienaar did we should ignore that.....stop being stupid Dave.

 Jean did nothing of note with ball in hand and nor did Jan. Jan was huge defensively and therefore he gets my vote. Not much in it given the game plan but that's my call

 We have the calssic here - Mozart ignores some facts and hide some others.  Just one question - was Serfontein credited with creating the try of Hendricks?   Must be a stuupid mistake by the Springboks, the commentators and ESPN  for crediting him with good play - Mozart thinks otherwise.
