JJ was invisible again....Serfonten very visible charging into the first tackle and falling down. Then we get to the end of the game. The chiefs launch a run from the penalty, two Bools are chasing the Chiefs break away...one of which is JJ. The other Bool makes the crucial tackle...JJ needs to prevent a potential next runner. But he falls over the tackled player for no good reason. But thankfully has time to get up, but then misses Cruden. Goodbye Bools win.

Fickle? Hell I never wanted JJ at 13 and in Serfontein' case I was at best an agnostic. At one point I thought JJ had some potential on the wing, but now I'd rather have Basson....at least he has the vision to make a contribution at times. As for Serfontein an inside step and crash ball is hardly going to worry top defences. Time to move on, and if that's being "fickle" so be it.
Ah yeah the usual predictable crap about JJ and Serfontein........let me guess, Jean, de Jongh, Frans and Sithole were game breakers were they?
Geez Moz get a grip. Jean and Frans have done stuff all for about 3 games in a row now......de Jongh was exposed for the little rag doll that he is and Sithole had as much opportunity as Serfontein and JJ did.......its called perspective, something you have no idea about.
Next time you decide to dump on JJ and Serfontein, do it when you have something concrete to back yourself up with. By concrete, I mean it would help to point out the examples set by established centres like Frans and Jean ........your take carries no weight at all

Dave will your defence of this perfectly porous player never cease. He runs back with another Bools player who makes the crucial tackle to stop the Chiefs break. JJ is first to the breakdown. He either has to slow the ball down or not commit and make the next tackle. He does neither.....he falls over the ruck without slowing the ball one iota. As the ball comes out he gets up and makes a tackle attempt on Cruden....makes full contact but misses.....try.
It was a pathetic, inept bit of rugby, completely unacceptable for a Bok 13....highest level, hahahaha, highest level of incompetence maybe.
Porous you say, I think you will find that his defensive stats are probably the best of all the SA centres this S15 thus far.......go check the stats.
