JJ to play Curry Cup for Western Province

It seems that JJ could be on his way back, perhaps to replace Wee Dejong. 
Although it is obvious that he is a better wing where he can use his pace and running skill, instead of at outside centre where he is a defensive liability. 
The front on tackling was hopeless. Not a natural tackler at all. Pieterson and Rhule will bolster the wings for next years Super 15. 
I am optimistic as now the teams will be much stronger. We just need some more coaches like Mitchell involved.
I am not convinced about Robert Dupreez as a coach. He seems like another forwards coach- even though he was a back.

Cape Town - Western Province are reportedly interested in luring back Springbok back JJ Engelbrecht to the Mother City.

Afrikaans newspaper Rapport hat the Cheetahs wing duo of Raymond Rhule and Sergeal Petersen were also on their way to Cape Town.

The report added that Springbok loose forward Oupa Mohoje and centre Clinton Swart were also been linked with the Stormers.

Young Free State-based centre Rikus Pretorius, one of the brightest stars to come out of the current crop of school players, has also reportedly agreed to move to Cape Town.

He will be representing Free State at Craven Week this week.

Engelbrecht, 28, represented the Cape side between 2008 and 2011, before leaving to join the Bulls in Pretoria.

Having spent most of his time at WP on the wing, he was mainly utilised as a centre by the Bulls and also became a Springbok, playing 12 Tests between 2012 and 2013.

He left the Bulls in 2015 to join the Toyota Industries Shuttles in Japan and also recently spent time at Welsh club Ospreys.

Another momentous step forward in JJ's journey to replace Danie Gerber as the BCOAT.

No, he is replacing the useless De Jongh - one player who is on par with Mozart's other favourite - Fat Fransie.   Not a center at all.

 Maybe w hen De Villiers went out of the defensive line and Morne slapped Barrett on his back seemingly wishing him well on his way to score a try - his view may have been obscured.

Great to have JJ back as he is a talented player almost destroyed at the clueless bulle!Some useful players but nothing to get too excited about. Swart a big bustling center and a nice addition .

Under Ludeke the Bulls were the grave yard for backline players and Meyer had the same problem.   Once the players receive proper coaching the improvement is vast.   Take for instance Sefontin under the guidance of Venter and Smith during the recent French series.
JJ was very good when he played Varisty rugby and his biggest mistake ever was to go to the Bulls.  It will be interesting to see his progress at the Stormers.   

"His progress"? Hahaha the guy is 28 and has bombed in the Pro 12. His problem wasn't coaching, his problem was he doesn't have an instinct for the tackle.

 How about he made his mark at the Stormers on the wing and was moved to center by the bulle. How about that eh Dr Mozzzz!

But everybody was great with that....the new Danie Gerber. And the oops, they destroyed the poor bugger by moving him to centre. He just can't tackle, but looks marvelous running through open fields.
