This is a tough one because they play a similar game. But the one difference HG Wells makes clear in his book, if you get tackled by the Invisible Man you stay tackled.....JJ, not so much.

My mistake, I forgot how the Invisible man stepped the police and crashed through the defensive cordon....JJ can't do that.

Actually de Jongh is more a throwback to a 13 like Marius Joubert, but a bitter tougher and faster. I'd say with better all-round skills too, but definitely of that ilk. JJ is just another wing like Basson but without any tool set to speak of, just Ioane like train-track running. A pointless debate when we are comparing whether the apple or the lemon makes for a better apple.
